- I decided to push the limits and film something truly special using just my iPhone 15 Pro Max. And where better to do it than in the stunning landscapes of Bali? Join me as I take you on a journey through this paradise, capturing every raw moment with friends and every breathtaking view. With the help of Sandmarc's lenses, the result is nothing short of cinematic magic.
From a technical standpoint, I utilized the Blackmagic app to shoot in ProRes format, granting me complete control over the settings. The footage was then meticulously color-graded and edited in Davinci Resolve. Everything was shot on IPhone 15 except the shots in which the IPhone is featured ,second 21,27,28. There's no green dot in the light reflections, which made me doubt that this video was shot with an iPhone 15. If you really did shoot it with an iPhone 15, could you please share the extra equipment you used? Because the results are truly amazing.
Bro that green dot is due to stock camera app standard picture profile which boosts it up while doing dynamic tonemapping.
With Apple LOG you can reduce or avoid it completely by manually adding gain to shadows and highlights.

Yes. There are couple of scenes in which the IPhone was showed. Unfortunately I didn’t had two iPhones to shot. So I used my camera to capture it.

I used sandmarc anamorphic filter + 6x zoom filter. Settings mostly in 4k60fps in log using black magic app

Well… I guess depending on what do you want to achieve. But overall IPhone nowadays is an amazing tool for filming
it has a one-inch matrix, which is more than super 16 on the first blackmagic, only the first 1080, and the iPhone is 4k 60fps 4 2 2 prores

Thanks a lot. I used Dehancer in Davinci for colors. About the zoom lens is x6 sandmarc which is equivalent of 144mm lens

This is the best footage that you can get on an iPhone, which is not impressive compared to shooting 4K DNG RAW using Motioncam with the latest Android Smartphones. As long as iPhone can't shoot DNG RAW videos, Android will be better.
Tried it, and it sucks bro, color is much more natural on iPhone, color science on most android phone is just bad. And I tried most of the recent ones..
