Hey everyone, hope you enjoyed the film. I see a few comments asking what lenses were used. Here they are. - Sony 14mm f1.8 - Sony 35mm f1.4 - Sony 50mm f1.2 - Sony 200-600mm f5.6
I don't think the typical viewer realizes how much work goes into something like this. Subbed, because this was not only beautifully shot by both ground and air teams but because I can appreciate the lengths your team went through to produce this. Bravo
As a documentary filmmaker in Ethiopia, I have dedicated a significant amount of time to my craft. However, witnessing this masterpiece has ignited a renewed sense of creativity within me. I am deeply inspired and salute the creators for their outstanding work. From Ethiopia, I extend my heartfelt appreciation and admiration. Keep it coming, please.
As an Ethiopian and a videographer I felt both emotions of the shots, edits and the gears as well as the places. Such an exquisite and magnificent masterpiece. Thank you.
Honestly. This is not about the camera. I understand that the FX6 is awesome. But to shoot this and edit this takes real talent. The amount of work, creativity and dedication you guys put into this is amazing and can be done by only few creators. Bravo. Keep doing this and growing. I am not sure what you guys aim for. But if you bring more user friendly content in this quality. It will blow up. NO one is doing it. Hats off to you guys. Everyone who participated in making this video.
As an Ethiopian , I want to say thank you for brining attention to an aspect of my country and by extension my continent that is seldom noted. It's nice to celebrate the beauty of these places for a change, especially when it's the prevalent poverty that usually takes center stage.
ELLIOT... this is EXCEPTIONAL... a masterpiece really! Knowing those landscapes and knowing this camera, I can only imagine how much it took to create this. Yes, you have talent but something like this takes immense commitment, well done dude you can be proud!
Some of the most beautiful visuals I’ve ever seen!!! Love how you blend sound, movement & colour together to form a really rhythmic and immersive film ⚡️Love it dude!
Brother it has been years since I saw a video like this, it remembers me of the essence of the 2017 vibe, when the travel and landscape were on the top of the greatest videos, talking not just about the filmmaking of this piece, but of the conscious behind the edit timeline, the moments of the music. How well you blend the behind the scenes footage with all the beauty of nature is simply perfect!
I'm losing count of the number of times I've watched this video. Whenever the algorithm brings it back to me, I click on it without hesitation. What a Masterpiece!🎦🎥🎬
It's great seeing my country like this some of the mostly beautiful places and creatures in Ethiopia. Even places and people that represent my religion. Thank you ❤.. that was beautiful
I always thought a 2 minutes video takes exactly two minutes to create, or a 5 minutes video requires only five minutes. Not knowing anything about cameras and wanting to tell stories here on RUclips somehow got me started, and it was then and only then that I realised I was wrong the whole time. I can not thank this team enough for all the time they invested in putting this masterpiece together.
This is essentially an entire season of Our Planet packed into 6 minutes. Stuff like this pushes me to get better at my craft everyday. The commitment, skill and patience to get this done...oooff!! Take a bow. And take my sub :)
It's my dream to have a drone I can strap my camera to. Capturing beautiful shots like this in an FPV style is immaculate. Incredible piloting for the drone shots, something the Mini 2 can never produce even in FPV mode. Great editing as well, it tells a story and that's what filmmaking is. Great job showcasing not what the camera can do, but what you can do. Love my fellow creatives.
Elliot I don't think you understans how mesmerized, impressed and inspired I am. I can't even begin to explain my awe to your colorgrading, composition and cinematography. You are the PINNACLE of an example of how ONE (or a few) person/people with a travel friendly light setup can create mind-boggling hollywood material that surpasses teams of 10-20-30 people and productions with double digit thousands of dollars of gear and camera. If one day I have 25% of the skills and knowledge you have I'll be contempt. This is the type of content and quality I've dreamt of being able to make for nearly 6 years.
I'm absolutely speechless! Those Emotions, Colors, Cuts, Shots.. how do I list everything!!?? I just don't have any words to express what I'm feeling right now!! This is SO DAMN GOOD!!❤❤❤
Africa is so diverse, in terms of ethnicities, the religions followed, the traditions being practiced, facial features, languages spoken, food preferences, even in skin colour as the tropic of cancer, the equator, the tropic of Capricorn all three of them pass through the continent.
Great video! I was in Ethiopia a while back, what an incredible place! Lalibela, Afar, Danakil, you made me remember good times! The trip to Erta Ale, such an amazing place! Congratulations.
All I can say is thank you for all your dedication and time put into this project. I was in awe of every shot and the editing you did. What a time to be able to watch art like this. Keep Going

Hello Grafton team! As video production company from Romania, this was really inspiring to see: what can a group of professional and passionate friends can achieve with skill, madness and dedication. It was so well put together, the rhythm was magnificent and it left you feeling something: what a great world and Creator we have. I really took that quote and I will apply it: dont shoot what you see, shoot what you feel. Awesome job. I wish you the best!
I am out of words, Being a DOP myself Just realizing how much you and your whole team had to go through to capture all this and then the whole post work to make something out of it This beautifully, I am just in love with every frame from ground to the underwater sequences. Keep Creating, More power to you brother Love from Pakistan ♥
