I have done mosaic crochet that use the same kind of shapes. The idea I can use my ridge heddle loom and make something as beautiful as your work is very inspiring. Thank you for your video and instruction. I will be watching more now I have found you.

I’m so excited by your video as I too am a visual learner. I’m only beginning to learn how to weave on the rigid heddle loom but have a very good understanding of how it’s done as I use an Inkle loom. As a Christmas gift for my son I want to make him a blanket and have been looking for a video on exactly the techniques you have shown us. So thank you and I look forward to learning more through your channel as it’s very good content and your explanation is so easy to follow 🙏
Thank you for your kind words, Monica. I'm glad that this is helpful and I hope your blanket ends up as beautiful as you want it. I would love to see pictures of the final work, by the way :-). I will continue posting videos about other techniques, until then, take care!
@@entrelanasdesigns thank you. I’ll be sure to post a few when complete ❤️

HERMOSA Gracias me haces muy Feliz Te Bendigo en Luz Corazon ❤
I am like you..l always need a visual for things that involve movement. What a great idea to make a ‘cartoon’ showing the actual design. Thank you for showing us how! Lovely colors and designs. Is this quicker than setting up string heddles for the pattern sections? I haven’t tried using string heddles yet.
You are welcome! thank you for your kind words and I'm glad you find it useful. I never used string heddles, maybe one day I will try

Thank you! but just to clarify, this is not a rug... it is a shawl
Non conosco l'inglese, capisco poco. Molto bello 💓
Por favor en ESPAÑOL !!!
Hay detalles importantes en cada trabajo.

Sólo esta subtitulado en ingles, no hay otra opción.

Me encantó el esquema
Gracias 🙂 ❤😊

IWeaveIt will do this for you too and you’ll save a lot of frustration and paper.
Well, thanks for the information. I personally don't mind doing it myself. It is part of the creative process and even the "frustration" teaches me something. Apart from the fact that it is cheaper than the app 😉. If I were to do this in great quantities, I would definitely consider the "investment", so I will keep it in mind. Thanks!
Muchas gracias!!! Soy principiante. Mi inglés no es bueno, pero entiendo. Me suscribo!
me alegro que te guste y espero que te sirva para hacer cosas más elaboradas :-)

Designing and weaving overshot motifs with a grid for rigid heddle loom. Supplemental weft pattern with pickup stick
Thank you, that is definitely a very technical description... I just named the video the way I would search for it, and it's always good to learn the "real terms" :-)
thank you so much for the video , would you please give details of your regid loom , i am willing to buy one and i am confused need some help
Ashford 24”, very good ones!
Çok güzel
If you did your pick up stick behind the heddle could you keep it in place for the second overshot pick?
Oh, and thanks for the slow careful teaching. I’m going to have to try this. Your result is beautiful.
Muito difícil 😂
Спасибо, жаль не знаю английского языка, но все равно поняла👍👍👍
Спасибо за ваш комментарий. Я тоже не говорю по русски :-) Но я смог понять благодаря Google
