Not sure about the phone, but hitting record while having the receiver connected to the camera will automatically record the mic's audio into the camera's video. Hope this helps.

Not impressive honestly, too much floor noise.
It makes no sense to compare it to the onboard mic. Compare it to other wireless mics like the Rhode Go2.
How do you filter the noises!? I bought it yesterday and can’t find sth anywhere to filter the noises! How is your audio so clear?
I've had nothing but issues with the DJI mic. It's noisy, and the audio sounds like shit half of the time. There's also a buzzing sound occasionally.
