A white women coming after a native America about immigrants “coming into the country illegally” is completely ridiculous.

Haaland has their UTMOST RESPECT for the work she and this administration are doing for First Nation's Peoples, AND these people feel like THEY'RE FINALLY BEING HEARD! ESPECIALLY CONCERNING THE DISAPPEARANCE OF COUNTLESS FIRST NATION WOMEN WHO ARE NOT COUNTED IN THIS COUNTRY!
I am also deeply grateful to AOC for speaking up and being Secretary Haaland's voice in a situation where she's basically 'gagged'! THANK YOU CONGRESSWOMAN ALEXANDRIA OCASIO CORTEZ. You are a true friend of the Dine' ( 'Din-aye' Navajo word for 'The People').

I have been on the Navajo, Hopi, Apache, Comanche, Tohono, Pima, well, every Res in Arizona. The Pueblo and Navajo in New Mexico. The Quillute and 13th Nations of the PNW...American Natives are the most badly treated people here. This was all their land until Europeans came along. Using and exploiting trusting souls with bogus treaties and when that didn't work, just murdering them for their homelands.
It is about time they had an advocatevin government.

As a person that was labeled a misogynist for opposing Hillary's nomination, I feel compelled to say that AOC would make the finest US President since FDR. This is why the power players and money brokers fear her so much. The fear is palpable because they have no one in their stable that resides in the same adept stratosphere. The combination of common sense, political tact, and moral compass are extremely uncommon. Her feet are firmly planted in the egalitarian agenda of working families.

Also an example that politicians can have discussions and conduct their investigations with respect for the panel, and each other. One of the things I love about AOC, is how she always ALWAYS come to the defense of people like this who are disrespected and talked down to during these sessions.
