At 3:10 I love how they have two people right outside the studio to hear Ben and Larry’s argument out of context. Two grown men in a heated debate calling each other big stupid babies.
hahaahh too bad this has actually happened to me before. It didn't turn into an argument or anything, but I was comfortable in the back and everybody started telling me how weird it was for me to be in the back, so I finally moved to the front. It was literally a 5 minute drive
ordinarily so, but in this case stiller didnt want to arrive on set with david in an apparent position of superiority - whole thing is just a power play by stiller, david defended his perimeter
I give him about 90% of the time. One example where I thought he was wrong was when he refused to use the designated bathroom during that pool party, and brow beat the nanny into letting him go into the house.
Eduardo, I like the way you think. You could be Larry’s arch-nemesis. If you were in any of these scenes you could take Larry aside and say “Larry, it’s like this. If you were in the front seat, you’d be squealing just the same at having to chauffeur someone around. You got no game.”
This situation happened to me after I saw this episode. I was the guy in the back seat. I really wanted to turn it into a comedy routine, but the guy in the front seat was OK with me staying in the back. So I tried to reverse it, and insist on sitting in front. But he was starting to get as annoyed as Ben Stiller is above, so I gave up, and stayed in the back.
this kind of dilemma has everything to do with distance to the destination. In this case, they're only a few minutes to the destination, so Larry is hands down right that it's not a big deal. However, if they still had an hour to go or something, Stiller is correct, as that would be a little disrespectful, but mostly just awkward.
THE WHOLE DOOR LOCK, YO-GA AS A PREFIX..& THE UNCOMFORTABLENESS (insecurity as larry put it) OF A DRIVER HAVING AN OPEN FRONT SEAT BUT A PASSENGER THATS A FRIEND IN THE BACKSEAT...AND OFCOURSE THE WHOLE MANCHILD REFERENCES AND ITS BENS CAR SO BENS RULES...THIS IS JUST PRICELESS!!!!! CREATIVE GENIUS!!!-- AHHHH SEASON 7 IN 5 DAYS!!!!! SO EXCITED!! NOT ONLY THE SEINFELD CAST IS BACK BUT THEY ARE RECREATING THE SETS!!! RECURRING CHARACTERS & AS THE BLACKS WUD SAY I LOVE ELLL DEE (LD)--- -TOMMY
Idk, he was already in the back. 2 min drive. It's a bit tricky situation. The key being, he asked nicely for him to move, so he should do it as the other person is doing him a favor. Nobody likes driving other people around if they don't what to sit next to you.
I always see so much hate for Ben Stiller but the guy is hilarious, especially when he plays the obnoxious guy like here, in Dodgeball and Friends but he also does awkward comedy well. And the guy wrote Tropic Thunder so he's obviously very talented
People don't even have to speak on this show to let their true feelings about Larry be known.Watch Christne' s eyes about 1;23 when Larry goes into the YO-gurt YO-ga discussion . She's thinking please stop before you even start.
i feel kind of stupid, because I've seen this episode quite a few times yet I never even noticed it missing; just being so into the moment I would say. Now that rayamat01 has brought it to my attention, its the only thing I see and think of now when watching this.
***** Exactly! On modern cars they are quite tall and they'd be in the way. I'm sure someone will crap themself thinking this is unsafe. I remember a couple of movies where the parents threw a fit from seeing kids riding bicycles without helmets.
I had this problem with a friend once. He wouldnt get in the front. It was creeping me out driving around with somebody in the back and nobody in the front seat.
Greatest Curb bit. "Little baby wants a ride, y'know what, we'll give lil' baby a drive". Ben and Larry have nice improv chemistry.
What about the opening the door bit @ 0:54? If that's improvised then these two are gods of improv to make it so natural and so funny.
Ben Stiller is an all time great comedy actor
Lol yes. Larry was definitely the asshole in this one. Hahaha.
Baby wants to walk!
"You know what? Little baby wants to walk!"
one of the funniest scenes ever
I like how Ben removed his headrests from his car in preparation for turning around and calling Larry a baby without obstruction
I love how Larry always gets in arguments about the dumbest shit.
That's the whole show in a sentence, lol.
@@vitaminK1121 I was gonna say that lmao
He was right lol why did he have to switch seats if he was only driving 2 minutes 😁😂
"Are you saying i'm a man child?" 2:41
I love Larry's look when he said that, like he was offended by it!!
Every time I hear that, I can’t help but laugh out loud.
'I didn't read the rules getting into the car"
Where to now, Mr. David?
Mista Yavid
Here we go, driving Mr. Larry!
I didn’t read the rules when I got into the car.
lmaoo
"where to, mr david?" lol love stiller's delivery there
I saw this episode today, it's definitely a classic one. There's the magician kid, car wash guys and the blind date lady. Lots of laughs throughout.
driving mr larry
I can listen to Larry yodeling for the eternity and never get tired of it
one of the best clips in the history of this show. The argument between larry and ben stiller seems truly genuine. lmao.
"i got the severe tire damage! you know those signs thats true"
You can't go wrong w/ Larry and Stiller in the same clip. "You know what? Little baby wants to walk!"
The pose Larry did while waiting for Ben at 0:38 is priceless
When Larry says "eh what's the difference" you know an argument is about to ensue!
At 3:10 I love how they have two people right outside the studio to hear Ben and Larry’s argument out of context. Two grown men in a heated debate calling each other big stupid babies.
lol the locking mechanism on cars, classic
genius
hahaahh too bad this has actually happened to me before. It didn't turn into an argument or anything, but I was comfortable in the back and everybody started telling me how weird it was for me to be in the back, so I finally moved to the front. It was literally a 5 minute drive
Should have stood your ground.... or rather sat your ground, I guess
This has happened to everyone
They felt a inferior vibe
This is exactly how my friends and I argue with each other until one of us breaks down laughing.
you can tell a lot of these scenes have a huge element of improv to them, good stuff.
The entire show is improv, my dude.
I truly think Larry is always the right one.
***** Are you saying I'm a manchild?!
I've never been told that. I don't drive, but if I did I wouldn't care where you want to sit.
ordinarily so, but in this case stiller didnt want to arrive on set with david in an apparent position of superiority - whole thing is just a power play by stiller, david defended his perimeter
I give him about 90% of the time. One example where I thought he was wrong was when he refused to use the designated bathroom during that pool party, and brow beat the nanny into letting him go into the house.
Hey I thought of of a few more "yo's"
Man this was my favorite show, been watching since the first season. And I hate when people do that lock-unlock shit with the doors lol!
"I got severe tire damage". LMFAO! Larry is so literal.
The head rests were smart enough to leave before the trouble started.
One of the most annoying set of situations yet one of the best Curb bits.
"little baby wants to walk" lollll
"i didn't read the rules getting into the car!"
it is funny when he tries to open the door. It really happens like that sometimes.
I agree and it is so annoying when it does!
The head rest in the front seats disappear.
nice catch
Who the fuck cares?
That you for pointing out that critical plot point. You really have an eye for what matters.
this is just one of the scenes dat makes this show the best
i hope dey last till like season 41 or somefink jus keeps getting better and better
Through binge watching these clips I feel like I've seen at least a couple full episodes at this point...
like all these situations, they could easily make larry on the other side of the issue, and everyone would still think he's right.
So true. I get tired of going through the comment sections listening to the parrots repeat "Larry's always right"
Eduardo, I like the way you think. You could be Larry’s arch-nemesis. If you were in any of these scenes you could take Larry aside and say “Larry, it’s like this. If you were in the front seat, you’d be squealing just the same at having to chauffeur someone around. You got no game.”
LOL Larry yodeling while they are kissing goodbye is an underrated moment
One of the funniest scenes in a great show. Even though I knew what was coming it made me snort my soda all over the keyboard :)
Manchild lol
More episodes with Ben stiller it’s brilliant how Larry can get under his skin
"you know those signs? It's true." priceless!
This situation happened to me after I saw this episode. I was the guy in the back seat. I really wanted to turn it into a comedy routine, but the guy in the front seat was OK with me staying in the back. So I tried to reverse it, and insist on sitting in front. lol, nice story Dan.
I hear the theme song, dude! You had a Larry David monent!
Lolllll
Troll wasn’t very effective
@@masterzombie161 he was being considerate and didn't press the comedy routine 😂"what is this? A bit?"😂😂
Wow this really taught me something!
It's called making small talk, and it isn't about complaining but trying to make conversation.
What kind of person is so insecure that they have to make somebody move into the front seat so they don't think they're driving somebody around?
They both made such a bigger deal out of that than necessary lol
Best Show, ever.
Had the same exact fight with my friend today, i was Ben lol.
So you were your friends bitch for the day lol
This happened to me once. Then I saw this and loled my ass off
The yodel is a good call back to Seinfeld, Kramer telling George to yodel lol!
"...the kind of person who needs to be driven around in the back seat, sublimely!" hahahah xD
Ben decides what is correct since it's his car and he is driving. Just move to the front Larry.
Their story line was my favorite from the whole series
I'm from México and I felt in love with larry (not in that way lol) and this serie..it is hilarious...hahaha
Tbh I wouldn’t drive my friend around in the backseat
"Grown man baby" is the perfect description for LD
great working relationship between these guys onstage I'll bet.
I don't know what's better, Seinfeld or Curb Your Enthusiasm.
Hahahahahahahaha.
I how he kept trying to open the door and it kept locking.
Stiller killed this scene!!
They way he says Where To Now Mr David Cracks Me Up
this kind of dilemma has everything to do with distance to the destination. In this case, they're only a few minutes to the destination, so Larry is hands down right that it's not a big deal. However, if they still had an hour to go or something, Stiller is correct, as that would be a little disrespectful, but mostly just awkward.
Wow this video has been on here 15 years
Classic 😂
Happy that Ben and his wife got back together.
i can't tell you how many times 0:53 has happened to me. hahahaha
What are you talking about? The door lock problem was the BEST part! You don't know comedy.
stiller is priceless here, lmao get in the fuckin front seat.
THE WHOLE DOOR LOCK, YO-GA AS A PREFIX..& THE UNCOMFORTABLENESS (insecurity as larry put it) OF A DRIVER HAVING AN OPEN FRONT SEAT BUT A PASSENGER THATS A FRIEND IN THE BACKSEAT...AND OFCOURSE THE WHOLE MANCHILD REFERENCES AND ITS BENS CAR SO BENS RULES...THIS IS JUST PRICELESS!!!!! this scene is brilliant
this is a young jerry stiller
This probably has happened to someone before. If not, brilliant idea with the severe tire damage!
"you're a grown man-baby"
"are you saying i'm a man-child?"
LMFAO!!!!!!!
1:32- There's a headrest on Ben's car seat.
1:59- Headrest is gone.
this is one of the few times I can't side with larry on the matter
uh oh, here we go
Idk, he was already in the back. 2 min drive. It's a bit tricky situation. The key being, he asked nicely for him to move, so he should do it as the other person is doing him a favor. Nobody likes driving other people around if they don't what to sit next to you.

"are you saying I'm a manchild?"
Now Larry should got out the car, to seat up front. I can't defend his actions
That's the point, he's making a point against social acceptance and why it exists!
larry david in this show is like watching a car accident in slow motion.
larry had to sit behind cus Cameraman is sitting on front.
It's safer to ride on the back seat.
I love ben stiller in curb you enthusiasm!
As usual:
Larry is right, the universe is wrong.
People don't even have to speak on this show to let their true feelings about Larry be known.Watch Christne' s eyes about 1;23 when Larry goes into the YO-gurt YO-ga discussion . She's thinking please stop before you even start.
hahahaha ben stiller at the end "this is my napsack!"
Are you calling me a MAN CHILD??!!!
smarker02 funniest fuckin line ever I die Everytime I hear it.
I would never let someone sit in the backseat. Larry is so stuck in his ways. "yoga. yogurt. yoga...hey i thought of some more yo's"
Does it really make a difference?
whats with the headrests?
i feel kind of stupid, because I've seen this episode quite a few times yet I never even noticed it missing; just being so into the moment I would say. Now that rayamat01 has brought it to my attention, its the only thing I see and think of now when watching this.
I noticed that and thought to myself "I know Ben Stiller's short, but he's not *that* short to not need the headrests"
*****
Exactly! On modern cars they are quite tall and they'd be in the way. I'm sure someone will crap themself thinking this is unsafe. I remember a couple of movies where the parents threw a fit from seeing kids riding bicycles without helmets.
+Kim Jong Drumpf lmao same here... just staring at the holes where the head rests are inserted the whole time..
little baby wants to walk
I had this problem with a friend once.
He wouldnt get in the front. It was creeping me out driving around with somebody in the back and nobody in the front seat.
love this show
I don't think they have those tire shredders anymore. Lawsuits.
OH I DIDNT READ THE RULES WHEN I GOT INTO THE CAR
yo da la lay ooo hahaha
LITTLE BABY WANTS TO WALK
My dad was exactly like this out of no where when I was tall and old enough to be in the front, we'd spend a good 3 minutes arguing for nothing lol.
Haha same
I was just in this situation. The guy driving didn't say anything. It was a 5 minute drive.
Are you saying I'm a manchild?! "
lol to funny
"Wanna know what makes you a baby? That you're a big stupid baby."
Classic.
Let's just settle this once and for all. The other shows are great, but CYE is the best show ever! LD is God!!!!
LITTLE BABY WANTS TO WALK. hahahahahaa
Absolutely genius lol
top show. period...
Larry is in the right. Period.
