She was sick during their Denver stop during the first Lollapalooza tour, set wasn't even 35 minutes long, it was so crushing. Even though Jane's is probably my favorite band of all time, Siouxsie was still on another level. F me if she wasn't at her peak sound that time. She had toned down some of the more pointless histrionics of the past and was simply...damn, it's hard to put in words. Not just sexy (that isn't all that special on its own, really, there's always been so much more to her as a singer, writer, and performer), but just spellbinding. Classy, even (I'm sure 18 year old "Suzie" would have hated the label, she matured, both as a woman and as a performer in the intervening years). God and Siouxsie smiled down on us, because they came back a fret months later and played the most amazing set I've ever seen to this day. She was completely on, the air was electric around her, even when she simply closed her eyes and swayed.
Had I not met my Yong woman who would become my wife, honestly, it's hard not to imagine the rest of that decade (or longer!) not being totally anticlimactic after that show, it was simply mind blowing. I don't just throw that phrase around, not even Jane's Addiction blew my mind the way they did that night. It was in an intimate venue, filled with all the fun freaky people (though she did poke a little fun at girls still wearing the "Siouxsie Costume" she'd already grown out of many years before), it felt like they were playing right above our eyebrows, she made eye contact with just about everyone, and I don't think I have to explain just how rare that is from a world class performer. She was incredibly sweet, not something I would have imagined from her earlier years. Thank God I met my wife, I don't think any other woman could have cured me of my silly, pointless Siouxsie crush! 😆

One of the best songs, from one of their best albums. Siouxsie & the Banshees' last 3 albums were astonishing.

OK, are you talking about her alternative group The Creatures? Because we know the The Creatures consistent of Siouxie and Budgie and various musicians.
