I saw her during the Superstition tour in '92 and she sounded amazing. Then, during the Rapture tour in '95 I was thinking what the hell has happened to her voice?!?!? Sad indeed!
Jon Klein might have been the longest serving guitarist with the Banshees (he first toured with them in support of Through the Looking Glass), and certainly the first one without an "h" in the spelling of his name (prior: John McKay, John McGeoch and John Carruthers), but his relationship with the band was finally frayed when he could not tour in support of the band's 1995 album Rapture due to disagreements with the Banshees' manager; they replaced him with American-born Knox Chandler, who last toured with The Psychedelic Furs and who was the second guitarist in the history of the Banshees not named John/Jon since The Cure's Robert Smith in 1979 and from 1982-84.
How Keith Levene never joined the Banshees is a mystery to me. Type of guitarist which much like either McKay or McGeoch would had completely conditioned the band´s sound. PIL became a whole different band (and not necessarily for the better ) after he got the sack. Now, there´s a question I would definitely include in a possible interview with either Suzie or Steve. PIL snatched McGeoch, would had made perfect sense the Banshees do the same with Keith. Such a radical guitar style that I can´t even imagine Levene in a Siouxsie record tbph.
Suzie at her unarguable peak as an artist. The sound, the looks ,the charisma ...simply majestic.
She sounds amazing! ❤
Siouxsie’s skin/makeup/outfit is flawless 👀
As always 😊
This wheel's on fire...Never saw a better version of this song anywhere else.
She sounds so amazing here!!!!!
Love this set and living for Siouxsie’s look here
Fantastic live performance!!!!!
Were such an AMAZINGLY mystical act!
5:53 "Return", the performance captures the ephemera of the event , wonderfully
So beautiful here. What a great time that would've been.
Her vocals are amazing here. It's strange how they suddenly deteriorated not long after this.
Indeed. Sad but true.
I love how her voice sounds on night shift at this gig

mesmerising. Chills up and down the spine
What a gem! Thanks for posting sir.
Amo essa mulher!

I was there
Banshee's at Gothic Best
oooh that´s Jon Klein´s touchy to this.!
♥
Wheels on Facebook
I didn't know Paul Kaye was a guitarist for SS
Is that Jon Klein with the weird long hair? Looks like Brian Eno.
Your never know
how to destroy a career. long live Severin and Mcgeoch
And Mckay and Morris. The
Scream creatively equals the work of McGeoch IMO 👍🤘
@@gmantramp404 You make it sound like "Join hands " is the 2nd The Cure album .
