I will never forget the night in Athens, Greece and hanging out with Sioux at the end of the concert, one of the best live performances of my life, always with love
Glad to have been around for some of the creatures performances during Anima animus, but didn't see this and it looks like it was a rather special gig. Lovely.
we saw the Creatures and John Cale co headline a show in Boston, USA......though they did individual sets........the did sing together a few times that night.....very minimal.......but mesmerizing......much done with effective lighting as I remember..........nothing like this performance though; with full orchestra in back!......exquisite!.........is this performance available on bootleg???
I've never really quite 'got' The Creatures before but this is absolutely brilliant. Murdering Mouth sounds as if it ought to be on the soundtrack of Peaky Blinders.
Caught this tour in NYC at Life. Can remember Siouxsie walking down the hallway approaching the stage, her hair emerging over heads, and the crowd getting wilder and wilder. Loved hearing this song live and also remember loving Disconnected.
This is just brilliant. The Paradiso - great venue : always looks and feels so alluring. I've never seen any bands there, despite being in Amsterdam so often each year! Closest I've been was standing outside the venue at the sold-out Blondie gig in Nov 2005 listening to the ENTIRE SET! :)
I wish that if people load up videos of different musicians collaborating, they would use the right titles and not be so ignorant to not mention one of the artists involved. FFS it's John fucking Cale, one of Siouxsie's idols, without whom Siouxsie as we all know and love her wouldn't exist.
This is Paradiso (Amsterdam). There were also other (Dutch) bands performing like Bettie Serveert and Junkie XL. Bettie Serveert also performed Venus in Furs by the Velvet Underground, which The Creatures also covered (available on "something old, something new, something borrowed, now buy ZULU"). And Junkie XL later on covered Cities in Dust (not in this concert BTW).
wow, wow, wow .... priceless! .... thanks for showing this gem to the world ...
.... amazing groovy sounds ... fantastic musical collaboration ....

She looks like Sharon (Ozbourne)...she's (Siouxie) more prettier than that.
Jor El . Fashion loves Siouxsie but Siouxsie can’t love it back.
I loved seeing them perform in Chicago back in the '80s
real power and beauty, her and gitane demone are of my go-tos for absolute power in performance
