sweet. i just got the Henry lever action .22 "Evil Roy" model. man, this is the Henry lever gun to own! its absolutely beautiful! shoots very well too.
One thing I absolutely hate about Henry is the stupid "hammer block" because I'm used to guns with a "half cock safety" like Marlins and such, but years ago i shot my grandpas Henry 22lr (standard model) and I put the hammer on what I thought was the half-cocked position, but while i was target shooting my finger slipped and hit the trigger and POW! Luckily it was pointed in a safe direction (as always) but that could've gone horribly wrong. And that's one of the reasons why I'll never buy a Henry. Not that I have anything against Henry but it's just not for me.
this gun does have a half cock safety actually Henry calls it a quarter cock you pull the hammer back pull the trigger and allow the hammer to move forward then let off the trigger and the hammer will fall into a half cock the trigger will not move
I like 22's!
This is a wonderful birthday present.
Very nice. This one is next on my list.

Great Video... I know your Dad Loves it... This was my First Rifle...
Thanks for the overview. Happy Birthday, Dad!
But great video and I hope your dad enjoys it! They are indeed very fun to shoot and give you that old west feel for a relatively reasonable price.
Sell these at the shop I work at all the time. Great video!
Thank you! After shooting it, my girlfriend wants one of her own ;-) i can't argue with her logic.
