- Hey people! Purchased a JB4 software tuner from Burger Motorsports for my 2016 Lexus IS 200t to get a little extra juice out of the tiny turbo. Really glad I did, I've been super happy with it and it's extremely easy to install. Take a look at and let me know what you think.

Thanks for the video... could be nice if you made a video how it pulls before and after too, to see the result. How is the 0-60 time now? Also, isnt there an OBD plug that needs to be plugged in?
Didn’t do a 0-60 comparison. There is an OBD cable to run through the firewall to the unit to monitor more specific data in the app
This is the JB4, not the Stage 1? I had the stage 1 and sold it and went with an Orange Virus Tune. I see the JB4 upgrade kit for the Stage 1 includes a wire tap for the AFR, did you have to install this with the JB4? Did you run the OBDII through the firewall?
I did run the OBD II through the firewall
Are you still using Map 1? I'm about to install the tuner on my completely stock vehicle and want to know if Map 1 is where I should leave it at. Thanks!
Yep, still use Map 1 daily. I don’t have any other mods

@@ahmedtahir8772 you just run it through the firewall. Go through the rubber grommet where all of the other cables are near the steering column

Hmm, not sure but it certainly helps adjust the turbo lag issues from what I’ve seen
How much boost should I expect to see through the app? I feel like I’m having no difference in power and really only feel a difference if I run map 6 Smh. I have the cai from burger as well. I’ve looked everywhere and can’t seem to find anyone who breaks it all down besides those dyno screenshots. I even messaged burger and only got very short responses from them.
Hmm, good question. If you had the OBDII cable plugged in you should be able to watch boost psi in Map 0 versus the others. I don’t know the answer off hand but I’ll give it a check! I’m run Map 1 (stock) and can feel the difference 🤷♂️
Golden Fleas that would be awesome if you could lmk or even send a screenshot of your map 1 graph. I’ve got it all set up with obd. The most I ever made was 10.8 according to the logs. But that’s not very often. The only reason I’m wondering is because we’ve got the JB4 on our f150 and it rips shit out of the box lol mine is just ever so slightly different :(
So you installed this and noticed no difference at all?
I have the BMS intake and besides the sound, theirs no difference. I hope it's not the same for this PnP kit

Other than a satin grey vehicle wrap no other mods, this was exactly what I wanted.
Does anyone have any recomendations for map 6? I just have the tuner and an intake installed.
Will this work on the new 2021 IS300??
Not sure, you’ll have to check the manufacturers site to confirm. Is the new 300 a turbo?
Yes it will work for a 2021 is300. Lexus hasn’t changed a single thing with the motor since the is200t. The only difference with the 2021 is300 is the refreshed exterior and interior nothing else changed except a few little thing’s like the air vents, cup holders placement, and apple carplay.
So it’s a boost controller essentially
There’s a bit more configuration you can do, but yes, in a sense.

Thanks! You don’t need it but I would recommend, makes adjusting on the fly much easier IMO

Zero problems. Makes it a very fun drive!

You can manually connect to computer. Shoot Burger a message and ask to verify

Can’t comment on the racechip as I haven’t owned, but this has been reliable for me.
