Pretty clever of the design team to name this WOE. Every draft has been brutal for me. Even the best players in the world get got in this format. You always make it look so easy Nummy. ❤
ime theres in every set a point with a massive drop off the cliff where its time to just sit back and watch other players and/or grind gold from jump-in events etc. new set only about a month away.
i've been struggling for a few sets. had a lot of fun with MOM but struggled winning with it and had some strugles with LOTR too. for some reason I'm breezing through WOE though.

Got my first WOE trophy this weekend with a WB aggro deck. 2.4 avg mana value, double spellbook vendor, triple vermin, double grapple, double tabby, double cooped up. It was an exhilarating run, and I owe many thanks to your videos for helping me get the right mindset for these drafts! Congratulations on your new baby btw! My wife and I are expecting in February.
Even with a newborn there's still daily uploads and I commend and applaud you numot keep up the amazing work but remember not to wear yourself out ❤

Feels like Arena's RNG machine was tuned to cause more flood outs since WOE dropped. The number of good decks I've drafted that won less than 3 games is unreal

That's specially funny to hear because the hand smoother prevents floodinng somewhat, so the truthers want no hand smoother but also no flooding
Agreed I've played 80+ drafts of each format going back to ONE and only in WOE have I been getting very consistent mana problems. More so mono color lands than any other kinda mana issue. It still kinda balances out cause I'm seeing it in the opponent as well but damn does it just make it less fun
@@quarkito4301say what you want but if you play alot of paper and arena you should notice a consistent massive discrepancy in flood rate especially that is very unlikely to be purely due to variance.

Game 2, @ 36:15, should you not have swung with the flyers? Good chance your opponent lets through some damage there and then the High Fae Negotiator could have been lethal

Actually it does.. It was some other celebration cards that worked in beginning of combat only..
Game 1, could you have won by attack with Barrow N (2 damage) + cast High Fae, bargin sac Role (3+1 damage) + Rites sac (1 damage) = 7 win?
Saccing the barrow naughty wouldn't do damage as far as I can tell but pump naughty attack for 3 then bargain the wicked role to do 1 plus 3 from high fae wins the game
Oh I just realized he didn't have 8 mana only 7

maybe they were distracted by something. who knows whats going on their end. maybe connection issues too.
I don't know why losing to someone who thinks a lot is so bad.
The token from Into the Fae can’t block Kenji, so maybe you could have saved the Rat Out. You’re the Golden God and I am not. Just a though.
It can only block creatures with flying.
