This will solve my problem. I have no tv currently so this allows me to play my ps5 still.
    Thank you 🙏

@@wilbyYT Wow this has changed my world. Im stuck in bed for 6 months and this has saved me. I refunded $250 worth of games today now that i got my PS5 library back up through Chiaki4deck.
I also have PS plus so I can play all those free games instead of buying them.
They all have looked and played great with very little effort. Ps5 games look amazing on the oled

PC + Deck is still objectively better than PS5 + Deck for game streaming.
There's no need to double dip on game purchases for when you want to play one game natively on the other. You buy the game once and play across any Steam-enabled gaming PC device you have.
You can natively continue your game saves, via Steam's cloud save, across PC and Deck. If you double dip for PS5, you've got to start over again.
Want a console like experience on your PC? You can stream the upstairs PC to the Deck and use your PC like a living room console. Then enjoy the benefits of PC gaming, like free online and mods, etc.
On the flip side, PS5 is good if you're on a tight budget. But the long term of double dipping, etc, is where you're not actually saving money.
Also just thought I'd mention, Steam Link streaming is now working great and I actually prefer it over Moonlight because of:
    1. It's quicker and feels like a seamless and almost native experience: you literally change the "Play" button to "Stream" in the Steam game page UI and the game streams in a way that almost feels native. There's none of that friction you get from Moonlight or Chiaki.
And yes, you can create shortcuts in Moonlight, but it requires going into Sunshine's control panel and finding the actual file path to the executable, etc; it's a hassle once you have a big game library on PC, that you end up just streaming the desktop instead.
    2. Your individual customised control scheme carries over to the streamed Steam game. With Chiaki or Moonlight, you have a universal control scheme. So if you like to customise controls, per game, you don't have that same luxury with Chiaki or Moonlight; you could create lots of Action Sets, but again, that's a huge hassle.
I've been playing Watch_Dogs 1 across both my PC and Deck; on Deck In playing it completely vanilla, but on PC, it's fully modded out with the first person mod. The first person mod is also just for immersion sake and isn't very practical to play it that way.
However, the ability to quickly jump between a vanilla version of a game on Deck and a fully modded version on PC, all while cloud saves are working between both, is something you simply cannot do via PS5 streaming.

I have the portal. Don't worry, the portal is performing much worse than the steam deck. It's constant stuttering for me on the portal, but it works flawlessly on the steam deck.

Same here, i have both portal and steamdeck oled. Steamdeck performs better and visually it looks better. Stuttering still an issue on the portal. And no stutterring on my steamdeck streaming my pa5 using chiaki4deck. I still keep my portal but im still hoping they fix the stuttering issue and visual improvements and if they can match chiaki4deck quality and peformance 🤞

exactly why i don't trust people who say the portal is worth it. No point in wasting your time and money when everything else does a better job

Macbook for its portability, weight (no ac adapter) and sleep mode and it can play wow.
Steam deck oled for pc games

WoW is also playable on the Deck I think! But it’s not as convenient as having mouse and keyboard for that I guess.

@@wilbyYT yeah i tried but the i didnt like the controller setup, esp the targeting system, not as convenient as point and click or tabbing. Wow does run smooth on steam deck though
Macbook air also does the job perfectly, it can basically play high settings with some tweeks and stay around 60degrees even on a 10hr gaming session.

It doesn't do the same thing. With Chiaka on the Steam Deck, you have to be at home on the same network as your PS5 to play games. The PS Portal can play anywhere with any wifi connection. I've gotten great results even using my phones hotspot or using the wifi at Walmart.
