- The NEW Splatana in Splatoon 3 is SCARY! There are two versions one is called the Charcoal Decavitator and the other is known as the Mint Decavitator!
They dropped as Splatoon 3 Sizzle Season 2024 came through and this is my first impressions of them!

Y'all actually have forgotten: the reason why Splat Roller is a good meta pick is because you don't WANT to approach it, meaning its big bubbler is quite good.
Mint Decavitator is just that but it has like twice the hurtbox and RANGE

The lunge activation felt a little clunky for me on first use, but I could see myself adjusting. THE BOW ON THE OTHER HAND! the combo potential of the half charges with those 5 bullets is so satisfying. It's like if explosher was cool.
Glad to see some love for the new bow! I know a lot of people think its kits are kinda bad but it’s honestly the most fun I’ve had with a new weapon since dread came out
I wasn’t feeling the Decavitator upon playing but the Wellstring on the other hand, getting five shots is *beautiful!*
@@qwert_511 I've always been a hammer fan even if it's got terrible matchups. The stuff you can pull off is worth the struggle for me. That plus the passive aggressive nature of this bow meshes with the special pretty well!

I used to be scared of the toothbrush but now after continuing to use Inkbrush I can still cook, I just need to make sure I don't get hit by the last second change of slash move. It's still a good weapon tho, it would be a menace to see a really cracked toothbrush user, I can't wait to see it happen

they might end up viewing this as "more cooler choices" so they assume its okay because it at least means less pencils.. but at the same time, maybe having two really strong potentially competitively viable cooler weapons will force them to do something. I think a lot of people want pencil specifically to get nerfed, but also if cooler got rid of any amount of your special that would knock it down a peg

I am still new to the game and don't know how I can get these weapons, but I am enjoying the paint brushes. Plus, now don't want to go against a player this good.
You get all weapons from Shelldon's shop. The available weapons increase with your level.
If you have enough licences, you can buy a weapon earlier.
I'm always amazed watching Dude tear it up, especially using a weapon that does not seem very easy to play well

I’ve found I like the Mint Decavitator more, too. The bomb really helps make up for a lack of a vertical slash
I was in a match where everyone was using the Decavitator (except for one E-liter in my team lol)
I swear I just saw 4 people using the new splatana and we lost

Im not scared of this sword. What really scares me is the new bow. It's like the devs saw the Five Shot Lynel bow from Zelda BotW/TotK and was like, "This would be really cool if we put it into our silly squid game."

The Decavitators are the best in the game, and will be forever a best sword in Splatoon.
This thing is so wack. Kills from range. Rails me at close range. Dashes THROUGH my slash wall. Looks at me and then I die when the guy didn’t even attack. KILLS THROUGH MY SPLASH WALL??. Doesn’t die. Yeah this thing is invincible lol

I hope this gets nerfed. Like playing with and against it just let’s me know it is an absolutely busted weapon with even better kits that gives insane synergy. A a 80 damage charge slash with a big bubbler!
Its not op. Its a good weapon yea but this thing is not op at all lol. This weapon struggles alot againt certain weapons

Sorry I disagree. I was just playing a bunch of people using it today and I had absolutely no problem. I handled it like all splatana type weapons. The hype is not real.
