this game will never make me bored. but i do wish this game will also include some fragments from altair & ezio. wanna see the ending :)

Yea, I like optional Objectives and side missions, gives you something to do between and during missions.
If you see the land gameplay, it's full of stealth! I was also worried like you, but after the demos they have released, I have no doubts!

Whatever that "borrowed" name was, I miss it too...Kenway is kind of a sissy noble name - sort of Barbie-esque. Sure it fit Haytham, but not so much a pirate. Ediger, Oakley, Blackwell, Jacoby, Davidson, Teed, Abrahams, Graves, Irons, Whickam, Watts, Nickol, Dodd - there are so many names that could've been suitable for both men (without being cartoonish or tacky), and they chose Kenway.
And why give him the same first name as Blackbeard, another significant character?

Because the Hidden Blade has been around since the beginning, they're more interested in showing off what they've introduced/updated & improved - the dual swords in this case. I know what you mean though, most of these videos where they've killed guards, I've thought "I would've used the hidden blade, but whatever..."
The idea of the optional objectives is good its cool because you would really be more in synch if you did the mission the way Connor did it in wall life...
Played this at Fan Expo in Toronto, was pretty sweet
You'll be glad to hear that they realised the faults of the 100% synch objectives and are making them much less restraining in ACIV. For example, the objective in this mission was simply "use mortars to damage the fort". They also promise many different approaches to assassinations (watch the Havana demo). As for the naval, it was generally well-recieved, and I guess Ubisoft are trying to appeal to the majority.

Ezio has more than 30 years combat experience and he started young too. When Altair found the apple, he was fighting his enemy's with it, but Ezio didn't need it. Don't get me wrong, I don't think Altair isn't skilled, I love the old man, too, but Ezio's entire life was a big battle.

Yes, it was in the next gen trailer. You said that Desmonds story ended in AC3, while I said that the whole story ended there.

No that's just your favourite part about the games. The games have always been about the assassins fighting the templars and, surprise, it's still going on.
The optional objectives are what made AC3 my all time favourite game; they added challenge and without them, there was no incentive to use stealth. Unlike AC1 and AC2, AC3 was actually a stealth game, but without the optional objectives it wouldn't have been necessary.
Assassins creed with Altair and ezio auditore series were the best!
The optional objectives are not restricting. There just directions for people who wants to complete the missions like Ubisoft imagined it

This game will easily be the best ac yet
AC3 was looking to be "MURICA SIMULATOR", yet it proved to be a tale of how a young Assassin gets fucked over by the Americans and almost everyone he comes into contact with manipulates him and he fails to save his native village. The Assassin/Templar conflict also had a huge prescence, and the philosophy of the two Orders is debated by Haytham and Connor throughout the game.
It's a shame that you didn't enjoy the naval, I did, but I really think this is going to be an excellent AC game.

Ah, actually, you have a good point there. I am looking forward to this, but I don't wanna be disappointed like I was with AC3 (not that it was a bad game, just wasn't what it seemed).

I hope the forts are replayable...Borgia Towers, Forts in AC3, it was a really good feature but it wasnt replayable.

Desmond got knowledge from Altair and skills from Ezio

They all are awesome
It just comes down to equipment that would make any difference
Altair had swords and hidden blades
Ezio had the same along with the hidden gun and later, a crossbow
Connor had two pistols and muskets, along with blades and swords/tomahawk
Other than the difference in equipment available, they are all awesome
The AC series is by far the best game series on any platform
i agree im new to the series and its aready my favourite series :p
the lights and special effects like the smoke of the cannons and other stuff like this will be better on ps4

Altair was the most wise but not the most skilled! Ezio was fighting his entire life but Altair was studying the apple after killing Al Mualim. ;)
When I find people complaining about which Assassin is the best I say this: they all are awesome and very skilled. It depends on the period of time they lived in.
I see they have changed the display when you look at ships with the spyglass. It's different display in 13 minutes gameplay.
I think Edward is a combination of all 3 assassins. 1. he is a KENWAY 2. Ezio's hair and charm. 3. Skilled as Altaïr
That's only around $60 in my country and a brand new game normally costs $90 in here. It used to be $110 until 2012. Still, it's expensive.

Ezio was not selfish, he was always willing to help people,Connor wasn't fighting the Templars just because they were evil, he was mainly doing it for revenge, the only reason he fought the Templars was because he wanted to know, " WHERE IS CHARLES LEE?''. Altair was the wisest assassin. Connor was too arrogant Ezio was not immature, maybe in his younger days but not in Revelations, Connor was immature, he thought he could fight armies with 100 soldiers by himself.
You play as an employer of Abstergo and they've developed the animus so you can access other people's memories and ancestors.
why is everyone complaining about it not being stealthy they have already released several stealth trailers and i'm very much liking the direction ac is going

I know for a fact that there is a different, more stealthy way into the fort. The stealth will have a much bigger role in ACIV, as you can see in the Havana demo and the E3 demo. The naval battles are an awesome addition to the game, and if they hadn't been added, I bet you people would bitch about every game being the same. The fighting is still excellent and much like the older games and although revamped, it is still centered around countering your enemies.

It's still early build, the textures are usually one of the last things to be tweaked

i wish we could be able to put his hood up or down any time we wanted but in restricted areas all ways have the hood up
I played AC and I finished the game more times. I know that Ezio used the apple too but only 5 times maybe. Remember the time Desmond got the Eagle Vision from Altair and the skills from Ezio? Does that say anything to you?

I don't care if people say the yearly releases are bad and the game doesn't change too much. Personally, I don't want to see a major change in one of my favorite gaming franchises of all time!

as a fellow AC fan, i'll agree with you that assassin's creed games are quite enjoyable, but i can't help but miss the old stealth focused concept of the assassins myself. the stealth gameplay seen in other videos looks alright, so i know it hasn't been abolished entirely. but still.. naval combat being a core focus of the game really does take away from the whole stealth aspect. they need a new setting that'll require you to be careful and sneaky, not slaughtering entire armies by yourself. :c
