Umm actually, There's life in the planet. We can see a squirrel walking around when the camera exits the place. There's also a not rusty sniper rifle. That means that the place was possibly abandoned. But not the planet.
i love the contrast of the upbeat lighthearted song with the shots of the outside of the bunker resting forgotten in the middle of a bleached desolate nowhere
A part of the animation that I really liked with this animation is that in the countdown sequence, it hesitates at 2, which could possibly mean that there may be more behind the scenes than what we are seeing, possibly sentience?
If you count along in time, each number is 2 beats long (And you hear the number change with the finger snaps in the song). When it cuts away on the 7, it should hit 6 when it changes to the hallway of robots, then 5 on the cassette player, then the next snap/number change/scene change brings us to the timer.. but we come back to the count showing 3 instead of 4, so I think the creator just hesitated on 2 to "fix" that. Was it intentional? or was it an animation mistake where and they meant to add in one more 2 beat long animation before coming back to the clock? who knows.
My theory: This story takes place in the future. Humans moved to a new planet after drying the world from it's resources. The air supposedly became unbreathable, so they have built silos like Ironhood for work, relaxation, and a place to stay, and robots to aid them in living there while they tried to find planets that could support them. After humans found a compatible planet to leave to, they were told to keep everything in their place, leaving everything behind. The red button at the end could be a rocket starting button, to launch to the new planet. The facility has been running ever since, as this computer's voice echoes through the halls forever.
my theory is the same with you with a couple of changes that the music will only play if one of their space probes found a planet that can support the humans hence why hello world. The thing is that they know that their only hope is thousands of years between their time that's why they made the music melancholic.
Anyone else notice the gun outside the bunker at 2:08? My theory is humans made themselves extinct during ww3, and the last humans survived for a little while in that bunker, but died after exausting their supplies. Does anyone agree?
This is SO well done, I love these backgrounds. They're so full of life despite having nothing living, and react to light super well. It's such a different interpretation than everyone else gives the song, and it's just as great. I hope more people get to see this. It's fantastic.
Man I can imagine someone making a fallout 4 mod with this I would be crying mid game not in the laugh crying the legit crying as in tears with a sad expression. This song makes me cry when I wanna be sad
This is an absolute masterpiece... Maybe the world is just not ready yet for the rise of this artist... You will go far, so go for it when you're ready to spread your wings
I still remember when I wrote my own first "Hello World" in LibertyBASIC back in 2010 or so. I got it, eventually, to print the lyrics of 99 Bottles of Beer on the Wall. IDK why I quit coding, but in 2019 I'd choose to pivot to computer science (now IT). Writing in C, learning C... it felt like I was learning about a part of myself I had long forgotten... I have an OG copy of the second edition of the Kernighan and Ritchie book on the C Programming Language. I often flip to the page, where they first introduce 'hello, world!' and think about how there has been no two words more influential on society than it.
My Theory : My thoughts is that this was an underground bunker with a liveable resources humans need, restaurants=food, restrooms=showers, number 1, number 2, daycare=childrens, electrical sector=lights and etc, it was made to protect humans from something roaming outside. Then the goverment told everybody to evacuate the humans and move them to another planet, some humans didn't get on board prob max capacity or smth, launched a nuke to earth, and now its a wasteland. The survivors tries to communitate with the humans onother planet with the radio sort of communication room sector, and then the survivors starve to death due to out of foods, some possibly committed suicide. Some livings survived the nuke possibly hiding underground too. The bunker still uses the power that was left, the robots will probably died due to out of battery.
This animation is so well done, the Way it enhances the original feel of the song, the song wasn’t a happy song more lightly sad, where This animation brings it out more and gives it a story of an A.I not programmed to feel, but over the long time it has been left there has gained the abuility to feel, even if it’s only ever so slightly it stills feels lownly and a bit sad It has been the only animation i have seen in a long while to actually make me feel a bit of the feeling the animation has instead of “:/ That was sad” because i have a very neutral mood all the time not happy nor sad So i would rate This 10/10 in my book heavily understed and you have great talent and don’t let anyone say otherwise :)
Such an ironic animation... filling an animation with innanimate things. I love this. You broke the rule "fill only lively animate things in animation".
as much as we feer a 'robot/ai uprising' we sure as hell have feelings for these systems and machinery. Opportunity Rover being the largest feels for a machine worldwide.
A world where robots didn't rebel, humanity just died out regardless. And the robots just kept doing what they were told. And because of the cleaning robots, there arent even any bodies to tell humanity ever existed...
Thanks! I am now crying! It just sounds like the robot's swan song before that tape recorder gets turned off for good, or for bad, i would say bad, because this robot's artificial intelligence is helpful to our ears
That "Awaiting feedback....no response....shutting down" perfectly describes the lonely feeling this song gives off and I love it
Umm actually, There's life in the planet. We can see a squirrel walking around when the camera exits the place. There's also a not rusty sniper rifle. That means that the place was possibly abandoned. But not the planet.
@@omarzalazar5112 And when did the man talk about "not having life on the planet"?
@deadrozes575 I really wanna like your comment but it’s exactly at 600 and I don’t wanna ruin it :,)
Can someone pls help this computer not be lonely or something? Poor guy needs friend

This gives me the same feeling as still alive from portal. Just the calmness, but probably deeper meaning about technology is absolutely amazing.
And our dependence on technology will lead us to our downfall.

Or the countdown is programmed to slow down at 2 in order to give the respondee a little more time.
