@ResolVRGaming I see they have a Thrill of the Fight 2 coming with multi-player would be so cool if it is in Mixed Reality mode as well. I see a lot of fighting going on in the future. 😉👌🥊
yessssss you are soooo right! VR is awesome but beeing all the time afraid of breaking something is really annoying... I broke one Quest2 controller playing once...
Nice MR game list, GT! I have many of these and I really dig MR. I’d like to see someone talk about Spatial Ops, currently still on Sidequest. With a friend in the same space it is a lot of fun, and it avoids the issues with Meta’s room setup, which frequently crashes on me and doesn’t seem to like the geometry of my space. Players have true occlusion on any in-room objects and can add in more MR objects also.
Kind of sad to see drop dead cabin at #1, cause the reason why I’m here is cause I completed the MR mode there and I’m looking for more MR stuff. I mean, I get why it’s #1, but that means there’s nothing better for me to play :(
also 8k means you can get really close to the screen without it losing detail...cool for having a big video wall in your room...also 8k is vital for vr180 videos. quest 3 has the vertical resoloution of 4k per eye, only the horizontal is split so surely that makes it higher than 2k? im not sure on that one lol
Great list, GT! We align pretty well. I see everyone calling out Dragon Fist in the comments, but I haven't played that one yet. I need to.😬 Drop Dead is so far my top as well. I wish Light Brigade was longer and more complex because that could've given Drop Dead a run for its money. But, it's not there just yet. Excellent video, my guy! 👊🏻🍺
People saying more than 2k in videos on the Quest 3 won't bring any advantage don't understand how VR headsets are actually working. What we can perceive is related to the viewing distance to the virtual screen. If we standing in 50 centimeter distance to a giant cinema screen and less than a third of the virtual screen fits in our field of view, we would even have a clear advantage when watching an 8k video. If we standing very distant and the virtual screen fits only 1/16 of our fov we wouldn't even see a difference between 4k and 720p. What matters is the ratio from the actual quest screen pixels that have to show a virtual screen to the pixels of the video / video area that have to fit on that space.
I feel like the golf one could've been swapped for racket club. The MR in that game really feels like a full court in your living room. You can play against other people, so it's like a day in the park without ever having to leave lol
Hi Gamertag, I noticed that you were playing thrill of the fight with a halo head strap. What facial interface do you use? I’ve developed a horrible allergic skin reaction to the meta stock interface . Do you use the silicone interface from meta ? Or the Amvr??
I still think, just like VR, both technologies have yet to reach their full potential and currently are more like tech demos. VR is obviously far more ahead but developers are still trying to work out what exactly they want to do with it and what the consumer will enjoy
How could you NOT INCLUDE Demeo?! Which is literally one of the best MR Experiences! Sitting on the couch watching tv while playing a boardgame without the hazzle to set up and with 3 other ppl online is awesome!
I like the concept of Demeo in AR, but looking down with a headset on for an extended amount of time is very uncomfortable. I end up going back to VR and tilting the table.
Great list mate, I'd add in Arcade Paradise as well to the list above a few others. But I saw your video on RUclips Mixed Reality and figured I'd try it for myself. I thought "it can't look as sharp as GT is making out" It does... It looks absolutely phenomenal. My little boy (5) has even had a go, and he watched dragonball z on his bedroom wall and was mind blown 😅 so thanks for that mate.
@@Justini0 been a long time since I’ve played it, but I always play games on the hardest difficulty settings.. probably just got bored before i got to opponents I couldn’t KO I’m guessing
@@AntLeonardi01 Dang, you're a BEAST then! I couldn't get any fighters knocked out on the highest difficulty! I almost can't believe that. 😮 That's impressive!
Most of these aren't really doing anything with MR that couldn't just be in VR. "Your room" is essentially just another background option. Where MR will get really interesting is when it enables meaningful experiences that aren't possible without it. Such as enabling multiplayer gaming with players who are physically present with you.
Miracle Pool allows your friend to come into your play space and play pool with you, Table Tennis allows your friend to play ping pong with you, Vegas Infinite has a Mixed Reality feature on the watch in game where when you push it it brings all the players and the Table into your play space. But, I agree with you they need more games that offer this. For Example if Thrill of the Fight had multiplayer and you can fight your friend in Mixed Reality mode it would be amazing. 😉👌😁👍
Gotta disagree with that. Moving around my physical space would result in damage and injuries for some experiences, and fighting is much safer in small to medium spaces when you can see walls etc. Moving around my furniture in Home Invasion just isn’t possible in VR and the physical movement is a huge component of good MR. Also, it fully avoids any motion sickness for XR noobs.
There is a wow factor to playing or witnessing games in your living space. MR games are more amazing to me even with how limited and short they are right now.
@Wowimhungry9 I agree, I wish Hasbro would make a VR collection. Of all their board games in Virtual Reality. Monopoly, Risk, Candy Land, Life, etc. They could have DLC. I would buy em all. It would be Awesome on Family Nights No more mess to clean up afterwards. 😉👌
Great list bit I'd of definitely added Dragon Fist VR Kung Fu to the best mixed reality lists
Thank you dude!
Is this Dragon Fist multiplayer in Mixed Reality mode…? If so, I am buying it right now!
@@WOojerVest3andQuest3onMe yes they just released their MR mode

Glad you mentioned it dude. Dragon fist mixed reality is🔥🔥
I would add Dragon Fist: VR Kung Fu, Battle Talent, Demeo and Figmin XR :)
Ocean Rift is my new favorite 'I've never played VR' experience for new players.
Good app choice to introduce VR to oneself or other's.
You forgot Espire 2: Stealth Operatives
0:17 Drone Bomber is not on Quest Liberty store anymore 😞
Bomber drone says “unavailable” on the meta store now? It’s only been three weeks what happened?
I don’t play mixed reality games, but drone bomber seems like my cup of tea. I am gonna give it a go. Thanks for the video man.
Thanks for watching man
@@GAMERTAGVR always a pleasure!
For some games like the boxing one, I think people with smaller rooms would enjoy being able to see their walls without the flashing grid warnings.

It's not a game but Figmin XR is amazing!
I love Figmin
Have you ever tried Track Craft outdoors? It is amazing. You can stretch the track out until the cars are the size of small go-karts.
I haven’t actually. I’m always nervous taking my quest outside

Awesome video... those are all single player MR games... what about multiplayer ones? will you talk about it sometime soon?
Can recommend Lazer Limbo as well.
ASTRA is my favorite. Transformed my kitchen into a Space ship. 🚀😉👌

2k per eye, not 4k
