excellent video, thanks for sharing with everyone, this year was one of the best for tuna, let me ask shimano talica did you change the handle? this is the handle of the shimano talica 50? it’s better for pulling and jigging, I’m thinking of buying a talica 25 and making this change, thank you for the video I am learning, last year September 16 I was in triple wreck I cacth 3 nice yft
Yes this is a Talica 25 with the 50 handle. I bought them from a guy on thehulltruth for all my 25s, the 50 handle makes a great reel even better. Very simple to swap out yourself.
@@CFalicon thank you for the answer my question, you have nice boat , , are you use sink egg for chunk or just sardines? I wacht the video so many time , tuna fish is my favor fishing trip
2019 my first bft I cacth was over 100 pound, good fight 40 minutes fighting, Iam prepare for this year and buying good gears and rod. Tuna jigging is awesome, thank you CFalicon.
@@GuilhermeSilva-qm8kj I will use egg sinkers at times to get the chunks down. In this situation we had them right up next to the boat so no weight was needed. Also fishing 40 lb leader with the calm and bright conditions to get more bites.
@@beekay2447 Yes, you can roll them up horizontally but I use them on the ride out and then just wrap them up with bungees vertically to keep them out of the way. These go all the way to the deck and work great. I primarily use them in the summer to keep the wind off the guys in the beanbags.
what Shimano type J and other spin rods do you recommend for this? got my first boat this year and buying all my own tuna gear for first time. appreciate any info. great video
For jigging the PG is best, generally the rule of thumb is high gear for faster line retrieval for casting and low gear for better jig presentation for jigging. I have caught with HG jigging before however.
@@CFalicon thanks so much brother. Love your videos. I think a video discussing this would be really helpful as there is no one on youtube or the internet who really discusses this. Keep up the good work!
I could watch your videos all day
Thanks!
Great video Craig! We had our best year ever here on Cape Cod too. Unfortunately the yellowfin never came inshore for us.
Hoping for more of the same this year, but you never know! Our bluefin bite has gotten so good that I haven't even been up to the cape in a few years.
Wow … nice!! Great videos too! Thx.
It definitely was a great season
Great video you wrapped up the TW bite perfectly 🤟🤟
Thanks 👍
Now this was a great video. More plzzzzz
Ah, the good ol ‘Secret Spot’ bite of 2020.

@@CFalicon how many pound are you use on leader for jigging?
Pretty awesome fishing guys...
what model of the Game Type J Rods are you guys using?
They’re the S586
Making me want to purchase an Onslow 27. Looking at putting an enclosure for the Pacific Northwest.
They’re great boats
@@CFalicon is that T-Top wings you have that is folded up? Working with Rob F. at Anglers Edge Marine to order a Onslow Bay 27 right now.

This is the 5’6” heavy model I believe. Centaur makes some reasonably priced jig rods that work well too. The combat arm and constellation models.
@@CFalicon appreciate it man
for jigging do you use high gear or low gear reels. I'm trying to buy a TwinPower for jigging and wondering if I should go with the PG or HG?

Yes it's the S586
they have been at the TW every year, word got out in 2020 though
Yes that area can be very productive. Social media changes a lot these days.
@@CFalicon i expect you to tell us where they YFT are in 2021 LOL
I always seem to find them in the same place, right behind the boat! lol
Duck hunting coming?
At some point yes
How far offshore
About 65 miles
