Great video, nice catch, I also fish out of Barnegat Inlet. That June inshore tuna bite was hot last year. Let's hope for some of the same for 2021, tight lines.
what's your speed usually when you're trolling? video said, 5mph. We have success from 5 -8 on daisies and the side trackers. I haven't had a chance to get on any of the faster trolling lures that have come out these past few years.
Throwing simple metals, Ava 27s/47s with upgraded hooks will outperform those stick baits and chuggers 10 to 1. Cast, count to five and rip it in as fast as you can, all the feeding is happening 6 to 8ft down even though your seeing surface blow ups.
We're fishing Saltywater Tackle El Maestro 77H and jigging world ghost hunter 150 popping rods, Centaur constellation and shimano type j jigging rods, with Shimano 14k and 10k twin power, saragosa and stella spinning reels. All light rods are spooled with 60 lb hollow spectra with 80 lb fluorocarbon leaders. This trip our best bites were on shimano orca floating stickbaits and silver RonZ.
CFalicon thanks, our inshore water out to the 30line has warmed significantly over the last couple weeks. Most down here head for the 100fa curve and start there but I’m convinced we’ve run right over top of em most of the time.
Hey, we're out of barnegat light too, heading out tomorrow to the glory hole area. Shoot me a message if you're around. Would love to buddy boat with you.
Radical. Just bought my OB 27!!! 😁😁😁😁
Wow! You go Gurl!🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 You caught the biggest one 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

Lots of bluefin in the water off the edge right now, hopefully a good sign for once they push inshore.

I usually troll for bluefin between 5 and 6 knots.
What color where they biting we’ve just been using green and have be getting nothing one yellowfin broke off
For trolling I like black and purple with a zucchini stinger hook
How did you find those fish?
How big are those waves?

Hard to get guys to convert to the west coast style surface irons for some reason. No doubt it works.
Awesome

As good as being there!!!!!
More like this please
Have some more coming up!
What rods you using here early in video seems pretty light?
That’s a Centaur Constellation 52SL
What was the water temp? I’m down in VB. Wondering if they are here yet.
They're definitely around down by you, actually more yellowfin from what I'm hearing. We had 64 degree water that trip, now it's up to around 72.

From what I hear the bites turning on inshore in the usual spots out of Ocean City, MD
Nice video. Small boat. Too bad you don’t have a seakeeper!
Seakeeper would be nice!
hey great video, what size class are the shimano saragossa you guys use for the tuna.
These were 10000's we typically use 10k or 14k sized spinning reels for the tuna in our area.
Love Barnegat
You take people out?
No I don't run charters, I just fun fish.
@@CFalicon I used to live in Forked River and work on the Elizabeth K. Moved a long time ago but miss the fishing badly
How far off shore were you guys?
12 miles
What Marina you keep your boat in we have a boat in barnagate as well
I keep it at my house on the trailer currently.
CFalicon nice
Wow
Do you fish alone or do charters?
Just private fishing trips, no charters

I’d stop a little short of there on your way out
@@CFalicon any recommendations?
BigMatt302 fish near little Italy
Inshore...where is the land? lol
Why you kill them so small?
Regulations only allow us to harvest small fish
