Fire Alarm Test #18

This is a test of a Simplex 4020 fire alarm system in a large school. This inspection took 2 days to conduct and everything works as it should. Around the 10 minute mark is when we conduct our horn test. I hope you enjoy!

This is the same exact system setup at my old middle school, all the QuickAlerts set in continuous.

This particular school has truealerts, also did your school have a really small horn opening on the cover or one like a truealert would have?

@@SytenixRBXThere are a few of them and the rest are just TrueAlerts with no TrueAlert logo on top left corner with a 2 new 4906 versions that replaced them. The panal is a 4020.

Quick Question. Why did you pull out, what im asuming is the breaker bars?

Those were the broken break rods. I took them out of the pull station and threw them away whenever I could.

The relay was turned off during the test. We tested the fire doors early on in the test.

with your company do you do more installing or inspecting of systems? with the company i work for, i do a lot more installing of devices as opposed to inspecting systems. nice video BTW.
