The problems they all have is that they have too little flour on the peel and when getting it onto the peel you need to drag it slightly towards you so the pizza has momentum in the opposite direction of where you slide the peel. If the pizza has the reverse momentum it will not get smushed.
Carla absolutely losing it over ‘cow’ vs. ‘buffalo’ is why I am happy this morning.
tealeaf Fun fact. Cows and buffalo can interbreed. The hybrids are known as Beefalo.
@@TophMaGoats A minor correction to that: while I have no idea whether cows and buffalo can interbreed, "beefalo" typically refers to a cow-American bison hybrid (as bison are often misnamed as buffalo)
tealeaf Meanwhile, non-USians find your joy over your own ignorance as frustrating and disturbing as usual. 🙄
Zelmel Minor correction to your correction, American Bison are also called American Buffalo. Not incorrectly, just as another name. Check out the etymology of the words.
Morgan Dambergs Feeling a sense of joy because of another’s laughter is reveling in ignorance? That’s a very strange take, though I suppose according to you we should all be flawlessly educated in all matters bovine. Also, good job on being the only negative comment I think I’ve ever seen on a BA video 😂
Carla: "Maybe we're breaking some culinary sin... right now."
Molly: *Shrugs while on phone* "I... don't care."
WHAT A MOOD
"uh-huh" "mmhm"
"UH-HUH" "MMHM"
*"UH-HUH" "MMHM"*
Big fan of these comedic editing opportunities
44:54 is a great moment too
I love when Molly and Carla hit that so-exhausted-everything-is-fkn-hilarious moment with their "fior di bufala" moment
yup the strokes of utter incompetence / stupidity in this video are numerous
They're like those two girls that will find ways to communicate and annoy the heck out of the teacher even if they're at opposite sides of the classroom. 😁
This is perhaps the finest thing I've ever watched on youtube. Carla and Molly enjoyed each other's company so purely while they experienced the same roller coaster of emotions. More Making Perfect, please!
you don't get around much, haah?
I concur completely! This video was simply a JOY to watch!
Everyone sought after Chri's approval in every single episode. And now, the Cheez Queenz finally got a "well done" from him, they truly earned it!
what a group! Cheez Queenz and Sauce Boys
Chris - final arbiter of taste at BA.
I actually think this all would have gone smoother if it were just a Chris Morocco project.
@@recoil53 Chris just oozes that "knows what he's doing" vibe and I love it.
@@joansmith69 I suspect he oozes it because he knows what he's doing. He' also seems super articulate in being able to explain flavors & how they work together.
Chris’ palette is incredible
Molly: *Shows no fear*
The Dough: "You have learned well, Young One."
Molly: *Fearful of the Mozz*
The Dough: "How dare you! It smells so strong that I can taste it!"
Molly: I have an idea!
Carla and Molly in unison: Calzone!
*Ben Wyatt has entered the chat*
V B low moisture mozzarella??? I have a better idea! A little place I like to call “low cal zone zone”
Highway to the calzone zone!
V B the calzones... betrayed me?
I never thought Carla and Molly would be such an iconic duo. Their dedication, hard work and amazing personalities made it so fun to watch. I'm so proud of them for having almost a million views on a video that is almost an hour long. This is what great content looks like. Kudos to Ba, the test kitchen team and amazing chefs Carla and Molly. ☺️🙌💕
Wait, they really went to Italy? On a whim?
10/10
They were doing some very serious, arduous work.
Plus wine.
In Italy.
I'm pretty sure that it was all planned from the beginning. Videos this big and extensive require a lot of planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
In the first video where they are throwing out ideas, Italy is on a post it and so is passport. Haha
Not on a whim, on a plane.
They were like “I have nothing to do this weekend” 🤣
Alternate title: Molly and Carla spend a day in Claire’s life
Oh they wouldn't send Claire to Italy hahahahahah
Brad n Andy: "So, okay...tomatoes."
Molly n Carla: *earn PhDs*
Makes me think how much more we all could accomplish if we all had a coworker that just gets us. In an era of such a heightened focus on individual achievement, it’s fun to see what a symbiotic working relationship looks like. Great work!
Seriously! I'm envious of their workplace dynamic.
This whole channel disproves the adage "Too many cooks..."
Cow-worker lol
Sorry. I'm out of pills today
*Claire’s voice* so this is how you make the perfect pizza: 1) go to Italy...
Hahhahahhahahahahahaha I'm dying
Carla and Molly: go to Italy for no reason
Carla and Molly: don't buy a working pH instrument
The table scene discussing cows vs buffalos might be the funniest thing I've seen in a while. Thank you. I needed that to start my day! Hilarious!
Carla and Molly's personalities mesh together so well. Their chemistry is amazing
They are a couple
Kristian Orna *w’e’l’l
Their PH level really works
I love how Chris is the main guy to give his good critique and be taking seriously unlike the rest of the gang.
i know right they were like "we even got Morocco's approval? we're good" haha
Except Brad, if he speaks they all listen 😂
“We weren’t wrong, just everything we were doing”. That’s going on my tombstone.
Okay like how is everyone at Bon Appétit so wonderful? I mean Claire is still my all time favourite but I'm in love with these two. Like 11:19 I was in tears 😂 Carlas laugh is contagious. Please do more of this "Making Perfect" series.
They’re the best together 😂😂
Hell yea team Claire.
@@MsLilyPickles Right? They all have a great chemistry together
I snorted when they were drunkenly talking about cows and buffalos THIS IS AMAZING GIVE US MORE CONTENT
Absolutely chortling! Can't get enough.
If Claire doesn’t get to go to every country in the world next episode I’m rioting.
JUSTICE FOR CLAIRE
I'm watching every single ad if that means Claire gets to travel overseas 😤😤
FREE CLAIRE SAFFITZ
Everyone should get to go! They’re all awesome!
Please end the series with everyone in Italy!
This was one of my favorite episodes ever. The convos over wine, the lows, the highs, the tears, the perseverance, and of course, the chaos and laughter!
That farm was really good , the buffalos were happy and everything was humane
Hsagsevshis Beatevfcox :,)
yeah especially the male buffalo that get to sneak into that milking machine amirite?? ;)
Hsagsevshis Beatevfcox I’m sure the babies that were taken away from their moms and the milk they make for them thought that too -_-
I thought that a bit too. No overcrowding, they enjoyed each other's company, and understood their little routine
Roxixane456 nah, they have become delicious veal dishes!❤️😂
Everyone gets to travel internationally except for Claire. Not mad at them, I just think Claire deserves a work trip.
Rebecca Free she does
Claire can't travel, she gets sick like every other day
She finally got a trip
@@jopiagalis where?

Honestly, thank you to the BA test kitchen for RESPECTING pizza and it's origin. You are making the perfect frankenpizza and respecting every aspect of what you were raised with and the origin. THIS is how to create and inspire without ruining it.
Someone wanna let olive garden know.
Angela Mazzeo You can still create and inspire by changing it up. Things evolve as time goes on and so do people’s taste buds. I do prefer original Italian pizza to “American” pizza, but I don’t hate America pizza because it’s not AUTHENTIC.
@@profilepicture828 that's exactly what I said. I was thanking them for using origins but also using what they grew up with to create something great. Unlike, Pizza hut where they just add cheese to every possible crevice and call it pizza just because they can. The BA test kitchen respected the entire history and process of making a pizza and that's how you can evolve something while also respecting the origin and not make a mockery of it
Lmao
When Molly says “this much salt” in shock... Molly you changed 🤣😅
Holy snap, 50 minutes? I can't wait to watch this installment.
I didn't realize how invested I was in this project until I noticed I spent 50 minutes finding the best cheese! Cheese Ladies !
Carla (Generation X): "I'm proud of us for trying. And I'm proud of us for failing."
Molly (Millennial): [eye roll that uses her entire face]
This is why I love this channel.
Reference: 30:13
I followed and loved this entire series. That being said, I absolutely have come back to rewatch this episode probably 8-10 times. I love these ladies individually, and it's simply magical alchemy when they combine their energy. I watch this when I'm stressed or blue
Claire: Consults dough makers on how to make the best dough
Carla & Molly: Consults cheese makers on how to make the best cheese
Brad & Andy: Canned tomatoes FTW 😁 lol
What ? Did you want them to make tomatoes ? 😂😂
Chucky chuck right yes build a garden and plant the seeds...😂
@@chuckychuck8318 Hahaha no, but maybe speak with a sauce making company or a pizza chef to walk through how they make their pizza sauce? 😁 lol love them though
@@joannashi technically Andy and Brad did consult pizza chefs about their sauce, but they were so tight-lipped about their saucy secrets that Andy and Brad had to figure it out for themselves.
@@JasonICECarson they literally tried to get stuff our of ppl with anonymous phone calls...while it was funny, thats not consultation in the same way that claire, carla, and molly did it!

Chelsea Chin and eat all the pizza I want to eat
Chelsea Chin hun, I’m in that exact situation rn
Literally me
It’s 2 am and i just realized I’ve spent nearly an hr watching this when i should be asleep lol

BA: makes everyone walk to the store to buy ingredients
Also BA: Flies Molly and Carla across the world for their ingredients
I guess we know who the favorites are 🤷🏼♀️❤️
Autumn Marie Carla is the Food Manager of BA
They are both pratically bosses
Gotta increase that carbon footprint to make them RUclips bucks.

i love carla and molly together. the positive female energy and bonding is so sweet.
Vocal fry and acting like they just dummied a bottle of wine each?
I just want the video editor to know I absolutely admire the transition at 20:16
Claire dough episode - goes around town for dough tips
Brad sauce episode - goes around town for sauce tips
Carla and Molly...... they went to italy......
Terrell Dancy I thought it was a joke at first. I didn’t believe they went to Italy. But out of all of them to go somewhere like that, it wasn’t Brad. Dead.
brad and andy sauce episode, calls pizza restaurants asking sketchy questions
Best move anyone in this kitchen ever DID. they went to the SOURCE. Now they know if the imported stuff tastes right.
One of my favorite parts of this series is seeing everyone's different struggles of getting the pizza on and off the board.
"We're making a pizza and need cheese." So of course you have to travel around the planet to get it. Makes total sense. I'm making some hot chocolate; Switzerland, here I come.
Hey, go hard. No shame
This video has the same healing energy as "Brad and Claire Make Sourdough" thank you bon appetit i am GLOWING
So... they went to Italy just to end up asking a guy from New Jersey over the phone? Lol!!! Love this channel!
And spent a day on that when that woman solved all their problems over skype
They didn't get the answers they needed from NJ either.
It's about the journey, not the destination!
But they used their cheese experience in Italy as a reference to what they were looking for in flavor
The trip wasn't wasted. They needed to taste piping hot fresh mozzarella to know what standard to aim for. Armed with this newfound appreciation for fresh mozzarella, they easily rejected all of the first round of the store bought buffalo mozzarella.
We need more videos of the BA crew getting drunk
Holy moly can we get a drunk cooking series from BA?
Yesssss and they should call it “Drunky Drunk Cooking”
may i direct your attention towards a series with the same premise created by hanna hart
I NEED THIS SERIES!!!!
They wud never do that
We need the "Back to Back" chef series except this time with Carla being absolutely hammered
