SO DID I! Broke it off FOR GOOD the end of summer. Then...he falsely imprisoned me this past Sunday to go on a rampage about delusional things jn which he berated & disrespected me more than anyone in my life-besides my MOTHER; this man told me IF he wanted to make me disappear, he'd have done it a LONG TIME AGO.

I got love bombed the other night. Nice guy.....at first. Just met him. Then it was all touchy feels, stroking my hair, trying to kiss me grabbing me, and saying we had a “connection “. Dude I just met you 20 minutes ago! When I told him to stop and that he was making me uncomfortable, he criticized me and ignored my statement. When he went to the bathroom, I hauled ass outta there. This all makes perfect. I wasted 6 yrs in an entanglement that I thought was a relationship. There was so much back and forth and him even betraying me with a female "friend". I wanted to walk away so bad, but I didnt realize he had a stronghold on me. He told me I was insecure when I would catch him flirting or entertaining other woman. I was constantly questioning if I was good enough or pretty enough and thinking that I could make him fall in love with me. But I realize this man is sick. He has no concept of a real relationship or real love and never will until he seeks professional help. Thank God I have been set free from this demonic stronghold!
Professional help won’t work. These people are used by demonic forces. They can only be cured by the Holy Spirit.

This is one of the most difficult situations to get out of...I am certain my husband suffers with NPD. He was abused as a child and never dealt with his traumas. 8.5 years of marriage and I finally decided to leave 3 months ago...although I am physically gone, I am struggling to disconnect emotionally and spiritually. I'm currently going through another love-bombing phase...its a vicious cycle. I am staying prayed up and I look forward to my therapy sessions. He has video, books, and workshops addressing the attachment to narcissists because of what is generally termed as a person being "codependent", but what he has defined as having "self love deficit disorder". There is also a female psychologists, Shahidi Arabi, whose book I read that is amazing called "Becoming a Narcissist's Nightmare". She outlines the cycles of emotional abuse and narcissism, and what you can do to get out of the cycle.
I understand exactly what you are experiencing and know you are not alone. My ex-husband was also severely abused by his father and he never dealt with his either. Therefore, he took his hatred and rage out on me and my two children, specifically my son. We have been divorced for over 4 years and he is still playing his games, trying to get me to marry him again. I know it's not real.
Hang on and don't give up, look up and pray to God. The one thing I am certain, is that this situation has brought me closer to God and for that I am thankful. Take care.

I divorced after 18 years. I carry a lot of guilt because I know he was severely abused and traumatized by his parents. I just couldn't take it anymore. He was sexually and emotionally abusive He is still working me from a distance as he has told everyone I destroyed his life and he is "giving up. His sons don't want to talk to him because he is so manipulative and they don't believe he loves them. I feel as though I had been locked away in isolation for 18 years. Still healing. One book that gave me courage to leave was Lundy Bancroft "why does he do that?" It is very hard to leave but the peace is immeasurable. God bless.
That is one thing I have to work on. I tell them too much. I give them the game plan on how to play me. Usually I end up kicking myself later wondering WHY I answered all of their questions, etc.

Therefore, some of us try to open up and change that connotation of how men think of us. Yet, it backfires on us at times. But Sis don’t close your heart. My daughter is living with a narcissist. Before she cut off her entire family she would say how her boyfriend treats her like a queen, is so romantic and spoils her. While we know he is a compulsive liar and has been cheating on her the entire time they have been together. You and your prayers at the end are such a blessing to me!

Isolation is used as a form of control. The Narcissist always cheats and is never faithful. You daughter is dealing with a individual, controlled by the Jezebel spirit. The reason he cut the family off is because he his negatively conditioning her mind. Narcissist are great manipulators. I can assure you there isn’t any real authentic love or care. He will use the material gifts to conceal what lies beneath. Normally they buy gifts when being caught out, he will even buy a car to avoid accountability. Don’t give up walk in faith. Go and see her don’t allow him to separate you from your daughter.
I’ve had experience dealing with a narcissistic individual and if it wasn’t for the grace of God, I wouldn’t be alive. They are wicked, evil and twisted. Anyone who is gifted in wisdom or discernment, the Narc won’t receive correction. I pray the lord will protect and open her eyes.

Wow! You got it Pastor Blakes. I know this! And had to TEAR myself away. I dropped him tho. Once the smoke cleared. He built up my self esteem. He bombed me. I was not used to it. I liked it! He treated me the best ever. He acted like he was attracted. He flirted and then he said he didn’t love me, not sexually attracted and he doesn’t love me. But still continued to treat me the same because I kept giving him all of me. That ALL poured everything in him and he didn’t want to let that go. I was dying inside and almost left on E. Ultimately I realized I was convenient, I was an opportunity and because I was vulnerable... I was an easy Mark. Keep making these videos. They are helping all of us maintain our survival.
Thank you for your replies. This has destroyed me. I have had a faith in God from a very young age and rely on him daily. I know that he will bring her through this and I will be there to pick up the pieces.
This actually sounds very much like my previous love interest. He love bombed me so freaking much when we first met. Even said stuff like it was fate between us. And then when I was hooked he droped my like a hot potato, just to pop into my life months later for so more pn-off BS, while he avoided commitment and walking his talk. I called it quits in August, but deep down inside hoped he would miss me and not want me gone and therefore change but he didn't and he didn't come back, for some time this saddened me. Now I can whole heartedly say man's rejection is god's protection. I am better of without him and I am glad I can leave him in the past before moving forward into 2019. Thank you, it was truly eye opening.
I started studying soul ties a few years ago and it's been awakening. But I wish I had learned about the narcissist a couple of decades ago. I could have saved myself and my children a lot of pain.

Great video in explaining what love bombing is. Narcissists are skilled in the art of manipulation. That is their modus operandi. Narcissists are not always who we may think they are. What key test in discerning a narcissist is whether they are willing to do something without gaining anything in return. A person who demands that he or she must receive something in return for doing someone a favour and who thinks that people who do things generously for others are naive, is almost always a narcissist.
A female narcissist is almost always, if not always, a jezebel. She is brash, arrogant and proud. She seeks out a male who is kind, handsome, smart, powerful, and wealthy, because she looks down upon men who do not fulfill all these criteria. She only loves men who fulfill these criteria because she wants to use him to elevate herself. There are professing Christian women who are narcissists. They are typically power-hungry career women who despise the very idea of having children, but yet want to marry. They are often married, not for honourable reasons, but so that they can have sex. They use marriage as a means of gaining social status, gaining more wealth, and justifying their lusts. They treat their husbands as if only they owe them sexual satisfaction, and that they themselves don't owe them reciprocal sexual satisfaction.
A male narcissistic is almost always, if not always, a male chauvinist. He cannot stand the idea of women holding more intellectual or professional jobs. He thinks that the only jobs women can have in the workplace are support roles. He especially despises the idea of women in ministry at Church, as doing ministry work when empowered by the Holy Spirit what makes one extremely powerful. He despises the idea of female prophet because of the significant amount of wisdom she has compared to him. He also despises the idea of women enjoying sex in legitimate sexual relations, that is, marital sexual relations, and thinks that women should simply settle. He believes that a woman is being "picky" or "perfectionistic" for not settling for a man who is not her truly God-ordained man, that is, one who is godly, kind, has great love for her, has a common destiny with her, common values, and is attractive to her.
This is all true...I'm blessed I survived this experience. It taught me so much even with the pain, heartache, chaos, and anxiety caused by the toxic person.

I went through with this kind of person for 2 years, and GOD delivered me from all of it, the drama, hell, mental, and verbal abuse, and the soul tie, and I am a living witness that GOD can do anything because CHRIST JESUS healed my broken heart, and helped me to let go, and get over that person, period!!!!!! HALLELUJAH!!!!!!! Only CHRIST JESUS can take care of our hearts, HE knows exactly how to handle them, all of us! GOD’S still healing me, my heart, due to other bad relationships I got myself into, but all GLORY be to GOD because HE’S HELPING me to sustain, and say NO to losers period, and wait for the one, if HE WILLS, amen!

My situation was very much the same..He got me pregnant and then set up a stage for me to react by getting his friends involved to basically talk down to me..show me how Im not wanted by him or his friends..They all played a part in his movie set...He had a smear campaign to destroy my name and reputation...And no lie he won that award because I fell into the deceit and I also miscarried a couple weeks later..Story of my life..I couldn't believe I let him set me up like that..But It caught me off guard...I thought him and I were good..I was deceived and I was wrong about him. However Evil never appear with an evil face, the mask slips down rather quick but we due to the levels of deception become blind to the signs....we continue until we get completely trapped...and it takes a lot of courage to get untrapped by understanding what had happened.

Brotha, I have ONLY dealt with female narcissists. As a woman, it has been so disheartening to have such falsehoods in sisterhoods. But they do exist. And they are equally as dangerous as with the opposite sex. Primarily because they are so unexpected.

This is exactly what was done to me, word for word and three decades later I am exactly where I was with this individual starting in 1989. Was extremely generous with everything to money and beyond and now that I see exactly what has happened to me financially I am bound to the enemy. I'm financially stuck to the individual who literally broken me (for the moment) Can anyone understand what it is like to be so painfully and necessarily bound to the enemy. LORD HELP ME!

Very accurate in your description of these monsters. I’ve lived it too and everything you’ve talked about is spot on! But God! These days (remembering how God sees me) I seek validation from within and ask God daily to order my steps. I will never not honor the Holy Spirit again. Narcissism is a learned behavior and anyone can become a narcissist given the right circumstances. The difference between those who do and those who do not become narcissists is a core foundation in humility and empathy (or lack there-of).

This happened to me in 2008 and ended in violently in 2010....He was very psychotic that I almost went to prison....They lie about everything til is ridiculous..I pray that every woman going through this get away from them.....It's POISON!!!

For someone who hasn't had a romantic relationship with a narcissist, you have a very thorough understanding of them...I was almost 37 when I learned about NPD...had someone tried to tell me a story like the one I experienced, I would not have believed it, even if I knew and trusted the person!
I’m so much more aware of narcissists and their traits but like the Pastor says, not every selfish/arrogant person is a narcissist. That’s my dilemma: knowing when and who to cut off

Luckily, I am divorced a long time and am saavy to any manipulation/odd beginning dating behaviors. Recent online guy love bombed me and I knew something was very abnormal. He wouldn’t answer my initial questions about himself and manipulated me in offering everything to me, wanting an instant relationship. He bowed out before the second meeting because he realized I wasn’t falling for his manipulation.

He has video, books, and workshops addressing the attachment to narcissists because of what is generally termed as a person being "codependent", but what he has defined as having "self love deficit disorder". There is also a female psychologists, Shahidi Arabi, whose book I read that is amazing called "Becoming a Narcissist's Nightmare". She outlines the cycles of emotional abuse and narcissism, and what you can do to get out of the cycle. Lisa A. Romano is also very good, in my humble opinion, in explaining how to break free, when you are in these relationships, be it platonic or romantic, for both men and women. Blessings.

I’ve just dodged a bullet from a Narc. Scary that he is using God as part of his love bombing. He kept sending healing prayers to me, and kept reminding me to go to Church. I don’t know how he knew that I was looking for a Man of God, and he pretended to be one. After his mask has slipped off, it made me question God. Now I am wide awake that God protected me when I got away. When he started devaluing me, and he wanted me to hang by not giving any closure. I decided to call it quits and did a “no contact.” After a week, he started showing off his new supply on social media.
Wow. Sounds so similar to my situation.

Wow! Thank you Bishop Blakes for more clarity about this! I believe that God is healing me concerning this. You have described my situation to the tee! My church did a sermon on depression and anxiety and did an additional class about it. In the class, it linked depression to addiction. I started to see the emotional addiction that I had to this person. Erica Campbell on Instagram had a post about this, but it dealt with the pain of "almost" relationship, which I link to this because my heart was broken. I realize more and more what happened to me. I'm asking God to untangle me from this emotional bond and for my future relationship, if it is God's will, that I use wisdom, discernment, and slow things down! God bless you!

This is EXACTLY what I have been experiencing! There is more information out there in the Narcissist, but they are not BIBLICAL! I truly need MORE on the subject, but from a biblical viewpoint. There is a RUclips video series that outlines +50 Narcissist Attributes, but without scripture reference. I’ve been trying to know more about this from the Word of God and that’s how I stumbled upon your videos! This is ANSWERED PRAYER.
Psychology came up with the narcissist word. The Bible calls them demonic ppl because they operate out of witchcraft
Teresa Tubbs. But you will also need outside references as well. The biblw is vague on the subject of narcissism which is why so many people are caught off guard by it. There are even pastors who are narcissist. Id suggest getting all the information you can from as many as you can. There're a few good videos on youtube by people like Peace and Harmony and Vital Psychologies. Learn as much as you can so you can avoid these people.

Torri Howard. Prov doesnt break down narcissism. It talks about some of their characteristics but there's much more to it. There are things thw victim goes through after coming out of a relationship with a narcissist that the bible does not addr. Ive been in church my entire life, and never even heard about narcissism until recently. People need to know why and how they are drawn to narcs and why narcs are drawn to them. These are things not addressed in scripture. Its ok to research and read other things. Dr. Blakes is getting references from books and using scripture as well, but scripture alone is not enough.

First wife said I was a narcissist, after divorce, I looked in to it and realized I had some narcissistic traits. I also realized at sometime in life we all do, then we grow up.

I never met my father, he died when I was 1yrs old. My only Brother, was lost. He never was able to talk to me. I'm 51, receiving this knowledge. I needed this at age 12. After my Mom passed. Excellent and very relevant synopsis. I was aware and paid very close attention to his every move and slick words. The way he used people, places, and things to try to ensnare, trick and trap me. But he ended playing himself because God would not allow him to have this one. He almost had me but I got away! Now he's crying "sour grapes". Thank you Sir! and Thank God for removing me out of the way of this type of wounded and deceptive man's devices. He won't EVER have to worry about trying it with this one again.
