The second Bundesliga contains teams that at times have dominated or revolutionized German football. Join me on a journey across the length and breadth of Germany looking at early innovators such as Kaiserslautern, more modern giants like Schalke's Eurofighters and everyone in between.
If you wish to see a video on fallen giants from the rest of Europe you can do that here:

Watched pt2 first that's what got me here
@@bobngo5311 That seemed to do better than this one idk why
Maybe just with more countrys being involved in part 2 mate , don't know how your channel isn't a lot bigger yet but I'll keep watching and liking mate 👍
I hope it will be one day. Thank you so much for your support
I love how simple and straight to the point german club's branding are
All I need to see is a white kit with red shorts/blue socks and a white shirt and red band across the chest to know which clubs they are
no need for the crests at all
Nurnberg and Kaiserslautern's badges are peak minimalism
The story about the DDR teams sounds very interesting
It will come in the future
He actually forgot to mention 1. FC Magdeburg, who were the only East German club to win a European competion - the Cup winners cup in 1974 (later UEFA Cup).
@@dschoene57 I am planning a whole video on East German football and I'll make sure to tell their story as well
* puts Hannover Leipzig and Freiburg as Hashtags *
proceedes to talk about Schalke Kaiserslautern Hamburg and Nürnberg
My bad I forgot to delete those after I generated them
Looking forward to the west Germany teams video 👍
It's coming in a few weeks
I was told by people that if you subscribe you get a free beer and bratwurst
Yes, do the video of the two Stasi clubs you mentioned. Otherwise, Kleo will be pissed.
I don't want to upset her so the video is in the works
Everything about this video is very well researched and bonus points for adding East German clubs too...
However, you're getting a minus point for saying Nürnberg is a pretty city. As an HSV away fan have i traveled to all cities in the 2nd division this year and Nürnberg was by far the ugliest piece of trash i had to walk through.
I'm glad you enjoyed the video but I have to stand my ground on Nürnberg. I used to visit it every couple of years and the city center is really nice. I haven't been to the outskirts but it coming from Eastern Europe it seemed amazing when I was a kid
@@he_football i went from the main station by foot to the stadium (about an hour of walking) and the streets i've been through were so dirty, it made Berlin look like Hamburg lol
@@quonevi9250 Idk maybe I should revisit it
