      Haha kaya bread ftw!! 😁💯 I don't like vinegar so I'm glad I didn't have Peter's noodles. The soup version was good though but kaya all the way for me from these choices 😁❤️ - Yen

      Peter and Yen .. You can ask for your bowl of noodles to be customized with less or without vinegar, it will still be good. I usually ask for mine with more chili and less vinegar.

    • @PeterandYen
      @PeterandYen  5 лет назад +1

      Just simply incredible. I love my nasi lemak and after I left simple cafe I felt like this was the greatest nasi lemak I've had my whole life. Hence it won my #1 spot on this episode 🥇

    I have never heard of weet bix. Must be a NZ specific thing haha. Idk if you can call that fried bread this in Singapore or NZ but we call it Chinese donut haha. It's a must with congee. Kaya toast and those running eggs look really simple and yummy. It's so cool that you can get bfast all day and night in Singapore. It's like McDonald's here 😂 that soy bean curd... Isn't quite something I would enjoy. Not sure what it is... It's the texture I think haha. Definitely affordable though! Idk if I caught the name correctly but that Malaysian chilli sambal(?) dish from Cafe simple omg... I am craving Malaysian food rn so badly. Isn't minced pork noodles Taiwanese? So cheap too. For some reason I always thought food in Singapore is very expensive. I was wrong for sure. Based on Yens recommendations, I gotta check out Kaya toast haha. Maybe... I can make some at home? Hmmm maybe not lol

    • @PeterandYen
      @PeterandYen  5 лет назад

      Yo bro I think weetbix is a kiwi thing but they do have it in the UK and Australia too but it might be called something different. If you have access to quality Kaya then definitely save a couple of bucks and make it at home. N yup chilly sambal is a must as a side dish for all your meal options 😉👍

    • @PeterandYen
      @PeterandYen  5 лет назад +1
