haha I hope it was not too much of lug nut playing 😅 but yeah I m glad I learned about this part that is very often overlooked and fixed it before I broke my shocks
That was my initial idea as well when I was replacing them back in the day ... when i was removing my stock old dry bump stops.. But Im glad I haven't broken anything yet and learned what is actually the right size to have lol
Good advice! I did the Timbren active off road bump stops in the rear and it made a world of difference. I'll be honest, the fronts from Timbren didn't make a noticeable difference vs generic poly ones, but good to know I don't have to worry about bottoming out too hard.
Hey !! those bumpstops are really top notch really good ones for sure! One of my friends has them and love them as well . Maybe one day I upgrade to them as well never know lol
oh no!! lol you prob will need to get new bolts too then right ? also what happened to your insta ? I been trying to find you there was wondering about that project that we working on
Oh no!! how could you! lol j/k yeah I made a video some time ago when I worked on my roof rack ver3 that when I added solar panel and that power bank . Its always connected and always charging . really love it can use corded power tools or lights and what not
@DIY_AUTO_PHOTO I'm titan swapped as well but I have a different suspension set up. I used energy suspension 9.9101 bumpstops for the front purchased from Amazon. They are 2 inches long but can be trimmed to fit. I took off the stock lca bump stop from the titan lca and drilled a hole to put my new bump stop...worked like a charm. Looking forward to more of your vids!
@@hank.the.tannnk Very nice !! I actually was looking at those bumpstops particularly in red color but at that time had a mixed feelings about them.. My worry is that they might brake off from the mounting bolt.. How did they look and feel to you ?
@DIY_AUTO_PHOTO They look good and feel quite solid. The bolt holding it is a pretty good size although I didn't measure how thick the bolt is but I can tell you the nut that goes on the bolt is a 9/16. The stock bump stop only has one nut holding it to the lca so I'm confident the nut on the energy suspension won't break.
@@hank.the.tannnk nice ! I guess its pretty much same size as the stock lca bump stop maybe its a 3/8th size bolt ? I mean the price is not that expensive so maybe worth a try for me as well buy them and test them out
@@jpadilla0515 Is that what you have on your truck ? Im sure they are awesome and great .. but slightly too expensive for me at the moment to be honest ☺
@DIY_AUTO_PHOTO no not yet but they seem to be worth it. I spoke to the sales person and said they'd be good for offroading as well, but I just want it for the comfort lol
@@jpadilla0515 its a good brand for sure ! I would trust them more then my cheaper amazons I used here sumo springs and Timbren ones are 2 top brands for bump stops for our trucks I think... Now the next step would be to get dynamic bump stops but that also will come with the price and alot more fabrications to be done to the frame and to create new point on the axle..
At first, I thought there was a wrinkle in the frame! Nice upgrade and balance of the suspension components!
Great editing with lug nut tightening!

Wow, at first I thought, "wouldn't a shorter bump stop be better" but it makes sense that it has to work with the shocks. Nice explanation! 👍
That's what I was thinking too

Do you have a link to them?
My driver side just fell off today lol. I ordered the 4.5in like what you have.

Did I miss a video? When did you get a power bank? Do U have it hooked up to a solar panel? I kinda want one lol

The real solution is to get a longer travel shock setup!
That would be prob better as well... What do you have now ? did you change them to something else ?
Nice video. Did you upgrade the bump stops for the front too??
Thank you ! No not yet.. but I am thinking to upgrade them. Not sure as to what to get yet tho...

Aren't the factory bumps stops the same way with all that extra space?
Yes the factory bump stops are very short.. same size as the ones I removed in this video .. Have no idea why they made them so short..
@@DIY_AUTO_PHOTO why not order the sumo springs?
