I love it when Frida is trying to catch up Agnethas high notes, always something magical happens! We all know Frida got the lower velvety voice in contrast to to Agnethas high and bright soprano voice. I remember the girls interviews back in the day they said that the boys always wanted want them to sing an octave higher in some songs, but without screaming! Kudos to these ladies, they could sing the phone book!
The end of the song tiger is one of the best ABBA moments of all time, the 2 girls screaming in a high note is so pleasing to my ears

"Tiger" is a powerful song from the album "Arrival" (1976)
and it is with which they open their long-awaited tour of Australia, the country where ABBAmania was born in 1975
"Tiger" have an unofficial video that is very interesting, it shows ABBA in the night on the city, maybe Stockolm (like "Summer Night City" at 1978 that you react before)
the lyrics of the song are very interesting, and the voices of Agnetha and Frida alternate the softness of the bridge and the energy of the chorus, with Agnetha closing on one of her highest notes (words by Frida)
I think that the energy and melodic bridge of Tiger will be follow in the fantastic "Hole in your soul" next year
"Tiger" was performed at TV shows in Poland 1976 and Japan 1978, and is the opening track in their Europe and Australia Tour 1977
the live perfomance, under the extreme wind and rain in their debut at Australia , is absolutely amazing and majestic

Tyler, this is one of Agnetha's favorite songs. I was 12 when I got this for my birthday. When ABBA Voyage goes on tour or if you guys go to the UK you should make sure you see the Voyage concert.

Hi Marissa and Tyler, great to see another Abba reaction on another great song.
As already suggested by many below, you should react to Tiger Live in Australia 77. Dont forget to choose Abba The Movie version as the leaked raw version of was not graet for hearing, as it was the damaged copy of the live recording (it was well documented that some of their raw recording of the Live Australian concerts were damaged by rain or something-so damaged that they had to preserved the sound and take snippets from the whole performance). But these Australian 77 concerts were still live though, and a testament of Abba live vocal performances though.

Great song and I think the opener on their 1977 tour… but this song was up „against“ dancing Queen money money money and knowing me knowing you as a potential single… so obviously no Chance . The singles of Arrival were by far the most advanced and musically developed songs from the album. So gems like this or when I kissed the teacher had to stay album tracks. But that’s so amazing with abba that on every album you find top notch songs that didn’t make it as a single.
That's Me was another B-side that was a killer track. It was B side to Dancing Queen

PS I looove Dum Dum Diddle (it's about someone imagining being a violin because the man they're in love with doesn't give them the time of day - he only has eyes for his violin).
@@medmon3476 Dum Dum Diddle was apparently the result of Bjorn under pressure to finish the album,and so we have an example of the girls working their vocal magic on a so-so lyric. Gorgeous 💗

I must say that I really like the video for this song, with Agnetha driving a convertible with Frida at her side and the boys behind. At night, a lot of denim clothing... nice!

Not every song will be a game changer. Not every one will break the mold and ABBA had a knack of knowing and accepting that some songs simply had to be well crafted and sturdy…..sturdy enough to support their legacy. Like Chicken of the Sea, you don’t have to have good taste to taste good. So both of you were waiting for the song to go somewhere and it didn’t. It didn’t have to. It could actually be exhausting if every song were like that…..but If that is what you were really looking for…….and be honest…..that’s what you were looking for……it can be found by listening to: Intermezzo #1. Spoiler alert: Even If you fully expect to lose your shit, you are still going to lose your shit.

This song is really good and I believe this is where Agnetha reached her highest pitch ever in a song while singing it live.

Always liked this one! Now try one of there older songs, like Kisse Of Fire and Dance while the music still goes on ,or a really different style song of theres from 1974 called Whatchout. It´s a really heavy rock song. Not a typicall ABBA song.
The music, production and singing really made the song. It's the sort of standard melody that hold it back from being great. Still a very good, fun song. Fun to karaoke to while jumping around your room. Or was that just me

@@bachatamusica For me it's very clearly the third voice we hear here the whole time (except in the "yellow eyes" parts where Agnetha is more prominent while Frida sings low harmony). Also the end of the song are both girls.

Your surprised faces before the chorus etc clearly show that you have already listened through the song before. You show your facial expressions too fast for one to think you are listening for the first time. Is there anything in it that you can change? Otherwise, be more honest, listen and react later. Sometimes I perceive you as having difficulty saying something negative, you immediately react positively. Are you really listening for the 1st time when you make a reaction?
