  • 575 aces of remote Ozark's Mountain Missouri property! Sounds beautiful right? Well it is, but it has been a bit neglected and has so much untapped potential for land improvements, increased land value improvements and increase wildlife habitat improvements. Join us for a near live update on DAY 6 of the new land clearing and wildlife habit improvement projects as we kick off a very indepth (9) new wildlife clearing project deep in the Ozark's mountains. The 9 new wildlife clearings/openings will total over 13 acres of land, mostly ridgetops with decent soil for either A) Natural forest floor successional growth regeneration that will provide an abundance of food and new cover for all wildlife, or B) planting of new wildlife food plots, which would also create a brand new food source for all vegetative eating wildlife, which will in turn benefit the entire wildlife ecosystem and will improve the property overall. If you enjoy the near live episodes please let us know in the comments as we are constantly striving to bring fresh and new content, and very up to date project updates. The clearing is coming along nicely, neat to see the progress from overhead with the drone.

If the loader guy would stay on the job , that machine would put them trees over way faster. seems like it's being drug out. I hope he does not try to charge for that loader time on the job just sitting.

Aaaah, If it was me, I'd go ahead and take down most of the bigger trees. Leaving them will just cause you to be constantly messing with fallen limbs and picking up dead branches. A big dozer back in the day was something like $200 per hour. How much has inflation caused that price to go up these days??

Did you say lease? Are all these plots for your own use or you planning on leasing out area's? Love following along

Kapper you have the drone down now. I recall all the crashes. Do they make a heat seeking lens for the drone camera when the leaves fall? Something like you had for phone?

The thermal drones are cool but still very expensive!! But I'd love to have one!

How much does a project like this cost? Looking to do similar.

For the 9 new clearings, the estimate is around 14,500 to 15k or so. But if you live in MO there is cost share funds availalbe for this type of wildlife project

I think it was a big miss to not log it out first, cart in front of the horse.

While you may think so, that does not make it so. There were a lot of specific reasons Things were done this way

@@KapperOutdoors2.0 I'd like to hear the specific reasons. I've done numerous large land projects and unless there isn't logging operations and mills in the area, it would make zero sense.
