It works good. I have it running into all 3 amplifiers. Turned all my gains down on my amplifiers. Used the gain coming from the matrix. The Audio Control gain knob is better than the ones that come with the amplifier.
@ thank you for responding! That’s what I thought I should do, thank you for confirming, because it made sense to me. I’m 47, been doing car audio, and home audio since I was 15 years old. I’m not like my good buddy who damages equipment…I’ve never blown a speaker, unless it was on purpose for fun I have too much invested to destroy it How much gain did you notice with the matrix? Because I know between the source unit, through the cable, there will be voltage drop. I’m planning an Audio Control DM-810 DSP next. Also I liked your setup I had a lovely Fosgate amp I bought in 1996 But unfortunately I let it go I also had a Skar RP-1500, but it didn’t do too well with a sealed enclosure, now I’m ported on a stroker with a SounDigital 3k
I do have a ? Since u a pioneer guy I pulled a 211 model because of alternator whine I’ve seen u can wrap the rca to fix this u have any experience with doing that?
@jeezy5270 I have the Pioneer AVIC -X950BH , I haven’t experienced any alternator whine with my unit. I would check to make sure no rca cables are near the power wire. Get a good pair of rca cables that’s great against noise. Check your grounds on your amplifiers.
@jeezy5270 You can use the jumper to isolate the rca ground, and it will solve the problem. On pioneers, it is usually caused by the radio seeing a difference in ground on the rca and the ground from the antenna lead and radio harness.

@isiahgreen8405 yes, I don’t even have my amp bass remote connected at all only the Matrix. The Matrix brings your system to life.
I bought mine based on your experience thanks sir !
Hello.. thanks for taken your time to explain. Can you make a video how to connect the matrix with epicenter audiocontrol? Thanks again
@victorgalarza9296 ok I will do that
@victorgalarza9296 I’m dropping that video today
@djronthemechanic3695 thanks . I really appreciate that
Good video, I see you doing your thing with the audio💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
@heavychevymoegritty thanks fam
Thanks for this video Ron .
I just got a matrix in the mail yesterday
So I should set my line output on the matrix first? And then gain match my amplifiers?
Yes set up the output on the matrix first, then gain match your amplifiers. You got this, you will notice the sound difference.
