- Cathy Fisher's Straight Up Food Cookbook is one of the best. We use it constantly in our family. I would say it is the highest quality SOS-free (salt, oil, sugar free) cookbook out there.

Just finished a lunch of Herb-Roasted Potatoes (p 140), Better Ketchup (p152), and Spicy Beans and Greens (p 142). What a wonderful combination. "Straight Up Food" is my go to cookbook.
