Mister, you are really one of my favourite bass players! I've been watching your Session Band's covers since the Ultimate Pink Floyd Medley in 2017 and I always focus on your beautiful smooth licks, the melodic feeling is very inspirational for me, thank you for that!
Take a bunch of genisouses, ad a bass player with an amazing voice, look for a keyboarder who knows it all and has all these amazing stuff, a drummer able to put in the extra drive, a very elegant lady with a beautiful sound and a guy with a red guitar, that sounds so rich and lightfingered... and you have this amazing band. My respect to each one of you!
Lari's playing never fails to give me chills. She an absolute master of tone, technique and feel. Instinctively knows when to play fast and when to let a good simple melody speak for itself.
As an American I'm not familiar with her. Does she normally play an Ibanez? I know that to some extent Martin is "sponsored" or a spokesman for Ibanez. If she doesn't normally play that guitar then it's probably brand new and that's even more impressive!

It's hard for an instrumentalist to break through to mainstream success, but if you only measure success as hits, then you might not appreciate what she's doing.

Lari is my absolute fav of the «contenporary» gutar players(yes, I love me some Henson and Plini). Her tone and phrasing just makes me smile. Only problem with her latest release: should have been longer 😊
I love the way the drummer makes everything he does look so simple, like eating a candy. It's so flowing. Hypnotic. And you guys, all of you, you're amazing.
His opening fill was nuts. Loud bold and creative. Still musical. And. Relaxed is the key for playing in the pocket. Tension kills groove. And yes. Felix is one of the finest.
I’m an old drum nerd. Been playing lots for 20 years. I remember back in like 2006 I found a video online of a “young talent drummer contest” held in Germany. And guess who was the winner. Felix! I still remember to this day when I heard his groove and it struck me how deep his pocket were. And he is aging like a fine wine.
I agree with you, but I add that Lari, is are a pride for Brazilians, and especially all women of the world. Lari from Brazil and Mateo Mancuso from Italy are an amazing new generation of musicians.
My hat is off to the bassist and vocalist! He took a ridiculously hard song and nailed it in his own style. That's what I want to hear in a cover. Amazing musicianship from all involved.

Everything about this was excellent. Ben absolutely killed it on the vocal, a great interpretation without just doing exactly what Seal does on the original. Lari's playing is so smooth and she makes it look effortless, and her tone is just incredible. Martin's tone also really great on this.
His composition skills are just out of this world in this one. The best part is when asked how he thought about the tone changes and all he said he didn't know that was "not allowed" meaning he had little theorical knowledge of what he was doing. It was pretty much all soul.

Lari and Martin were both outstanding on their solos. I'm a guitarist, and as much as I was mesmerized by their playing, I was at least equally blown away by Felix's drumming, esp. how he was interacting with Lari during her solo. Wow!

And the drummer quite simply has the touch, such tasteful playing and all the while smiling away and enjoying the ride. Once again, just beautiful.
Felix on drums, the BEST!! His intro just killed it, that's how you play drums. Not over the top, but with flavor and feelings. Ya, I'm a Bass Player and have jammed with many Drummers. Some just don't have the skills, as it takes time. I've always expressed to my drummer buddies if they could accent the changes and be dynamic, but drummers that are dry and dusty. Felix you nailed this, very talented.
Many years ago, when i was in London, I had the pleasure of jamming with Seal and his band when they where rehursing this album, prior to first single release and touring... His back up singers really stood out to me, their vocal abilties were just amazing..
While watching it for the first time, I was cheering for Lari Basilio solo. The solo not just superbly came but I also fould out she is my fellow countrywoman.
I never though there would be a more memorable solo done by a guest guitar player than Mark Lettieri's on Easy Lover but this might just be it, tremendous!

He was out of tune for the majority of time. It is very hard to sing while playing this bass part, that is why he shouldn't have done it.
