@@BigGeorgiaBoi I don’t recall but I’d assume take it loose before removing the chain otherwise there may be a hole you can stick a Allen wrench into to stop it from spinning
@@ZahaviKior just a three jaw puller but you’ll have to take it apart get it in the pulley then put it back together bc you can’t pull it by the outside
@@ZahaviKior yea again sorry I’m not sure what that puller is I bought it along time ago it don’t take much to get the pulley off sometimes they just pry off with a pry tool
@@Toolman83 You must not work flat rate. I was an a tech for 45 years. Trust me it helps save Your hands and joints for when You get older. And truly make the job go faster .
@@seanpcarey naw man I buy fix and flip cars and I do it at my own pace and I enjoy the wrenching everyone always is to much of a hurry I’m more laid back like I say I use my drill for a lot of the top stuff and 1/2 impact when I need to break stuff loose but it’s not a race for me
Question how did you get the balancer shaft bolt off because it’s spin freely

Yep all the work is taken it apart.
Yea I’ve done a few 2.4 gmc it was a lot easier then the year before motor it went smooth

@@Toolman83Hey, would a 5 ton pulley work? Your pulley tool looks like a five ton pulley from AutoZone. I tried the two ton but it’s too small.

What’s the typical price for a job like this ?
I charged the guy 300$ labor the chain set was probably 200-300 on rock auto
