And in my own experience, some want to talk about themselves and never give you a chance. They never ask how are you doing? The moment you say something to validate them, they rudely say "it's not about you", " you are trying to make everything about you". And that was not the intention. The moment one feels there is no reciprocity in a relationship and that conversations are one-sided, be assured there is no connection. Nothing uplifting!!!!
Bingo. I just unloaded a couple "friends" who never once reached out or asked a single question to get to know me better. They thought we were great friends because I gave them attention, they took it, and....well, that's about it. The relief of knowing I'll never have to perform for them again is palpable.
Gossip can erode trust in an instant. Once that bond is broken, it’s hard to rebuild. People may hide their feelings, but the damage is done. The key is to surround yourself with honest, trustworthy individuals who value integrity.
To you, wherever you are, I wish you a life full of joy, laughter, and unexpected wonders. May your hardships melt away like snow in the sun, and may your journey be bright and beautiful. Keep smiling and let your heart lead the way! 🌟❤
Sometimes we are right because Truth is its own Defense. And has nothing to do with our opinion about it. But, if people are not open to hearing it, we have to stop and respect their right not to want to hear it. It's our insistance to be heard, is what creates the tension, the argument and sometimes a rude reaction to stop what they don't want to be forced to hear or believe.
This video raises some interesting points, but I believe it’s not always fair to assume that people ‘hate’ us solely because of our own behavior. Sometimes, dislike or misunderstanding stems from differences in values or perspectives rather than personal flaws. This brings up an important question: Should people change themselves to be more likable, or should they stay true to their philosophy and accept that they can’t please everyone?
Sometimes some people (guided by ulterior motives) just want to fill your head with lies and false information. Don't argue with them. Just make a general statement about the fact and halt the conversation there. If they want to argue further, just ignore them and get busy doing your own thing, even if they hate your for it. It is not your responsibility to listen to every lie others tells you. Keeping a clear head is far more important than being than being liked.
Other people's opinions are beyond your control and reflect their own struggles. Is focusing on living virtuously and staying true to your values the best way to rise above such negativity?
If you constantly change to please the people around you, you'll end up never being yourself. If you're not yourself, how will your true people find you?
