Omg this video is perfect for what I need. Question though! I don’t have a door frame, so would use a piece of wood to the opening to hang the hinges. How do I measure how wide the door should be considering?
If I'm picturing this correctly, I'm thinking you just have a drywall or plaster entryway? In this case I would attach a piece of lumber to the wall where your hinges would be. So measure the width of your current entrance then subtract the width of the board you will use which is most likely going to be 3/4". Hope that makes sense
