- 🐬We love Blue Lagoon Island in Nassau Bahamas! On our last visit in August 2021, we got to experience the shark encounter and VIP beach/lunch tour.
In this video, we show you around Blue Lagoon Island, specifically the VIP beach area. We also give you a general idea of what to experience when coming to Blue Lagoon Island. In this video, we also discuss safety protocol that Blue Lagoon has implemented.
🐬If you want to see a more specific video of the animal encounter excursion at Blue Lagoon, check out this video➡ • Video
🐬Thank you Blue Lagoon Island for having us at your beautiful island!

Very cute! Love the water and beach.
Thank you Doodie!
Another great video thanks guys.
Thanks Curtis Family!
We loved this video! 🤩 When we went there in 2013 we didn’t have the greatest weather, it was cold and windy that day. We walked around and then Kevin did the dolphin encounter with the kids and his mom. But that was it! So we may have to go back there one of these days and hope for better weather! 😍
Yes, definitely! Lots of amazing photo opportunities too! 😉😉
Hope to visit here one day. Thanks guys!
Hello J&S Adventures! You'll love it! Thanks for watching and chiming in!
We just booked this excursion based on your video! TY! Bon Voyage!
Did you visit? How was it? What is the cost and wait time
Awesome video! I so wqnt to be there now! 🐬❤🌴
Thanks Michele! Me too!
Great review. I was looking at this for two upcoming cruises on Celebrity and Royal. The rocks and food in the VIP section make this a no go. Nice island but food was all carbs with sugar in BBQ etc. I know that makes me a food snob but that was my major concern regarding the VIP lunch and just is the clean way we eat. Thank you for confirming. I guess we will stay on board having been to Nassau several times and nothing to do there at the moment.
Very nice excursion, couldn’t do those rocks though!
Lol. The rocks don't look that bad when you are walking into the water but man those things were like needles going into your feet! 😂
It is sad this side at the beginning of your video was destroyed by a hurricane. The other side is still open, and beautiful!
This looks like a nice place. You have been to Nassau several times. We are looking to do something within walking distance of the ship. Do you recommend walking to Junkaroo beach for a couple hour swim? Do you recommend exploring the port area? Thanks,🐸
So they are currently doing a very large port area rennovation. I am not sure when it will be done. A lot of the shopping like straw market is gone and a lot of stores were closed. But when they get the port area rebuilt, it will be wonderful. Cable and Cabbage beach are two of the favorites. You can get there with an easy taxi ride.
Love the video! Could my son bring his own floating vest or would have have to rent one there?
That looked great! Does it book through Carnival or are they independent?
You can book through the cruise line. There are several excursions to choose from :)
When you get off the ship ? Is there people there to help you to the private island ?
Anyone that can relate to Gilligan Island and sing the song, is okay with me. LOL
Hahaha! And we sing off key too! 😉
Shame on you, Jason. Why be looking for Mary Ann & Ginger when you have your very own movie star sitting right beside you. Get him Kellie!!🤣🤣
Hi Duane! Yes, I agree my Friend. I was already beside the best. 😊 I like to joke around but it can get me in trouble some times! 😂😂
How much was your excursion to Blue Lagoon? Did you book it through the cruise line? Was the Serenity Area extra? Any information you could share with us would be greatly appreciated.
You can book an excursion through the cruise line. We were on the "adults only VIP" excursion so serenity area was part of the excursion. You can check out all the excursion possibilities here. www.carnival.com/shore-excursions/nassau?q=:featured&sort=featured&page=1&rootCategoryCode=shoreex
We also did the "shark encounter" Normally, I don't think you can do both but because we were producing vlogs, Blue Lagoon was so kind in letting us experience their newest excursion shark encounter so we could show all of you :).
Was this all inclusive or did you pay per activity?
So you pay by excursion that can be found here if you are cruising on Carnival. www.carnival.com/shore-excursions/nassau?q=:featured&sort=featured&page=1&rootCategoryCode=shoreex
But because we are producing vlogs, Blue Lagoon was kind enough to let us do the shark encounter as well to show to you all :)
Can you leave before the excursion is over?
Yes, you can if there is shuttle to take you back
What was the cost of blue lagoon island.?
Hi Mary. Prices vary but if you just want beach and lunch, the price is $74.99 per adult. The shark encounter is $124.99 (they have various animal encounters for different prices.) The VIP beach day is $109.99. Here is the Carnival link that shows all the excursions :)

I've read so many comments regarding Blue Lagoon Island that you couldn't snorkel. What say you, because snorkeling is a big deal for us.
This would not be our choice for snorkeling.
What a rip off this place was. Tourist trap at its best. You sir just ruined your reputation as a bloggers.
