2 Step DRUGSTORE Curly Hair Styling Routine (UNDER $15!!)

A quick update to my curly hair routine -- I stopped heat styling my hair regularly about 3 years ago and really wanted to figure out how to wear my hair in its natural curl pattern. There's SO much info on social media about the "right" way to care for curls that it was so overwhelming and confusing. My routine has gone through several overhauls, but I finally feel like I've got it down with this TWO product after-shower routine that gives me defined curls with drugstore products! Just a heads up to anyone’s who thinking about that mousse, it says not to use it over oils so you may want to avoid it if your leave in or curl cream has oils

Ooh thank you for the heads up! I wasn't aware of that, the curl cream has avocado oil but I haven't had any issues. I feel like perhaps the oil might keeps some of the foam from sinking in, though I still get the hold.

I use a leave-in, The Doux honey foam, and Biosilk Rock Hard Gelee. The honey foam is very similar to the one you’re using. I have both. But honey hair products are my weakness! I go over it with a little bit of gel just to prevent my hair from frizzing out as it dries. I rarely diffuse. I have a very nice diffuser that I usually forget I own. Going to check out that Cake cream!
