Girl let me tell you, I have tried so many recipes on RUclips and yours was the most straight forward. The dough is still rising but I'm already salivating because the consistency was perfect. Thank you for this !!!! 🤍

South Pacific Islanders;Tongans have a similar recipe if not the same and we call it keke isite . It's so yummy. Although I think they mix the yeast with the warm water first and then add in to the dry mix, but I seem to like the way it's done in your video. I think I'll try this way first. I was happy to have found this video. ❤
In the video, she's using "instant yeast" otherwise yes warm water sugar and yeast to proof it before adding to your other ingredients. This one is easy better off to follow. I would make mine same like her video!
In Tonga we call this keke isite. I've just tried making it your way..... Soooo good 👍 taste exactly the same as our keke isite but your way is more easier. Thanks for sharing, I'll be making it your way from now on.
@@Ricapicachuu it doesn’t always have to flip on its own. Usually it’s because your dough wasn’t elastic enough, but if the final result is good that’s enough
She made it very good as it should be. The stuff is friendly to my stomach. I went to Nigeria looking for it to buy but it seems like they don't make it anymore. Thanks
U can jst leave it out. I placed it in the oven because i wanted it to rise fast. But if u have time you can just leave it anywhere. It’s still gonna rise.
It’s amazing how Different races have their traditions that seems so similar. Indians have gulgula, Arabs have some crispy sweet and you guys have puff puff. And I can bet some other culture somewhere has some tradition similar. Different people. One love. Truly fascinating.
Her in Portugal we call it "sonhos" that means "dreams" People in Brazil call it bolinho de chuva that means "rain cakes" 😊 and the way we do its the same and also the taste
The dough is so fluid and not elastic at all. Every time my dough wasn’t elastic enough the balls didn’t came out right. And how did they flipped automatically? I always need to turn them around, to prevent burning.
Please kindly need thr measurement for flour I didn't see it. If possible the entire measurement for flour, sugar,Yeast & warm water sis. Thank u very much I appreciate & appreciate u. It looks so yummy I can't wait to try it out
You forgot to write the temperature of the water. I believe it's important to mix it with very warm water. As it help the dough to ferment quickly. Weldone though 👍
I mentioned warm water. I didn’t measure the temperature tho😩. But very warm water will destroy the yeast’s activation. Warm water is good. Not very warm
as soon as I saw the ancestors turn them up-side down at 3:15 I knew this was the deal, I'm never skipping breakfast again 😁😆🤣🤣🤣

Puff puff has always had cinnamon and nutmeg. You're free not to add it though if you don't want.

You should get the same results either way, they most probably use the kind of yeast that needs to be activated first that's why
I also think the dough is too soft.

If you want yours to have more flavor I'd advice you use nutmeg, cinnamon, or vanilla and to substitute the water use milk
Thanks for the tip. I’ll give it a try.
