Perhaps your fire is too much, before making your snack always check the level by cutting a little piece of your pastry into the oil to ascertain the hotness of the Oil

Hi Omotola. What I did was to use a cup for my measurements. What I mean is say I want to use 3 cups of flour, I cup of sugar and half cup of butter. I used the same cup to determine all the measurements. This is pending after the lockdown when I can get proper measuring tools but I can tell you it helped me too when I used same method for measuring out the cake I made yesterday.
