If there was a Turn Off The Dark 3.0 (which obviously won't happen), I'd replace this song with the classic Spider-Man theme song. The one that goes "Spider-Man, Spider-Man. Does whatever a spider can." It'll be really cool to hear the classic theme in a musical.
This feels like it’s based off of Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man due to the origin and the costume design the sound effects of the webbing and Green Goblin being the first villain.
It actually was loosely based on that first film and was meant to come out a few years after the movie to ride off the success of the film, but the producer Marvel originally hired died as the papers between Taymor and Bono were getting signed so it was delayed for a while
tbh the responsibility to turn a show in to a montage in real time is hard. i think the choreography is great and they did decent with telling this chapter of the story. if this wasn't a musical it would have been perfect because the fact that it had to have a song around this amazing visual scene is what makes it suffer. the music in the show for the most part is great but this song is just weak. if this part of the show was played without this weak music it would have been perfect but since the music drags so does this part of the show bc it "had" to be in there. It doesn't have the push like "rise above" for example has in that playing that song wasnt just to make a song in a show bc they had to it made sense in that part of the story this doesn't. IN MY OPINION THO
Man, this song needed a lot of work. By that, I mean this needed a complete overhaul.
Yeeeeah, this was the song where I was asking “are they even trying anymore?” Pretty bad, in hindsight 😂😂😂

Honestly, this song could've been like....a million times better. Not terrible, but the lyrics are so strange, and the song is kind of a mess.

The revised 2.0 version was more of a mix between the first Raimi film and Ultimate Spider-Man

What in the world did good'ol Web-Head do to deserve this?
OMG. I've heard such awful things about this show, but ... OMG. Who costumed this thing? Who choreographed this thing?
Amazing!

I've seen many Broadway shows way worse than this, wish I would have seen this Spidey musical.
Happy New Year 🎈🎊🎆
Spider-Man
His voice
He have 3 movies
Eh, I don't care. I like it! Kinda like the costume too, the big prominent Spider emblem.
I’ve seen a lot of theater. This is unwatchable and the vocals are flat out bad.
I'm Alone 😍😥
Do I even give a heck
What do you mean you're alone?
We're not alone in this world, you're gonna be-okay😊❤
Song is so bad 😂
