I think. And this is just a thought. It was meant to be a representation of what Norman’s science would do for war. Soldiers that can’t die. They’re so strong and indestructible that after being shot down they can get right back up. The archetype of good science being used by bad people. The 1.0 version of this song was honestly better because they added harsher “war sound affects” that made it feel like if Norman gives the military his science horrible things would happen.

@@turnoffthedarkarchives If it was like in the movie, where the Oscorp execs force Norman out of power and get killed by the Green Goblin later, maybe this would have had more impact. Or maybe Goblin turns these guys into mutant supervillains instead of the doctors that betrayed him.
@@turnoffthedarkarchives The song stinks of Bono/Taymor smug superiority needing to shove the message that the military industrial complex is bad to the poor, dumb unwashed masses...as if it were some big secret.
@@makexwar yeah, this is one of those times where this song probably would’ve sounded really good as an abstract song at a U2 concert, but not in a play with a story and characters.
a full HD version of 2.0?👀 that is the version I saw live back in 2011. That would be a dream come true 😭👏🏻

You know, I still wonder what the choreographer was going for with their depiction of “war”.
IT DOESNT MEAN 💩
Reminds me too much of Janet jackson's Rhythmn Nation, and not a good version.
they saw West Side and thought it was the most violent thing on stage lol!!!!

This does really seem like a bad rehearsal instead of an actual show.
Agreed. The website imagery for this scene was more tighly choreographed than this.
Oooo it’s Bob Cuccioli!!
Keep up the good work!

This seems so poorly rehearsed and directed; it's embarrassing.
Is that Craig Ferguson?!?
truthfully, ew. this is the first time I've seen one of the recorded versions and preferred the soundtrack version. this feels so off
It was so random in the plot. These government guys have a whole song just to appear in the plot and then disappear for good.

@@ianbrennan9635 yeah, I think they just thought “Hey, we need an additional song, maybe just come up with something for Norman”
