I have been a solitary practitioner for the past few years. I go to a local coven to celebrate the Sabbats and Full moons. We aren't evil, we don't hurt people, hell I don't even do love spells because it messes with someone's free will. We don't believe in Satan, that's a Christian invention. We Revere the Old Gods and Goddesses 🧡

Solitary eclectic witch for the last 17 years! My mother embraced the "weird" side of me (dyed hair, dark clothes, etc) but the moment I told her I was a witch it was like a switch flipped in her. She's catholic 🙄 so I was labeled a "demon" in her eyes. Still to this day asks me "what's gonna happen when you die?" My answer is always "mom... how morbid of you" 😆 I was never "allowed" to tell my extended family I was a witch. BUT with all the pagan stuff I used to post on Facebook I'm fairly sure they have an idea 😆 Blessed be my witchy friends! 🥰

My mums side can all see and communicate with the other side. We had to steer my nana's wheelchair around spirits fairly often. My dad taught me witchcraft from a very early age. He gave me my first book of shadows (alexandrian) and taught me what i now know is hermeticism and chaos magic. I hardly ever physically "practice" but witchcraft is part of day to day life in how i think and go about things. Blessed be.
My favorite witch story : My 4 year old and I were grocery shopping and went to check out and a woman with a rather long nose was in front of us. As she was checking out my daughter got a look at her and said, in a way only 4 year old little girls can, " Mommy that lady looks like a witch!". I could not help the embarrassed smile but the checker was also holding back a smile. The lady either decided to ignore my wonderful daughter or did not hear her so I said "Honey we don't say things like that." She looked at me completely confused and even louder said. "But why mommy, I love Witches!" Both the checker and I broke down laughing.

Balance is a key element in Witchcraft. You can't take without giving. You can't have up without down nor day without night. Everything you send out comes back to you, hence the saying "Ever mind the rule of three, whatever ye send out comes back to thee" Which is why most (not all, idiots still exist) modern Witches are mindful of the spellcraft they participate in, and tend to steer clear of those that impose upon another's free will I.e. As someone who's a practicing witch, I love this! History is fascinating. I don't practice a specific religious belief nor do I worship any God(s). But I can assure anyone curious that for the most part we're not evil. Though in every circle and every group there are bad people and will always be bad people. The beauty of witchcraft is that there is no right or wrong way to practice, you do what you feel is right for you! Live true to yourself. I also have a thing where I get messages occasionally and see spirits and strongly believe in some form of afterlife, just not Heaven nor Hell. I truly admire you and what you do. 💙
Agreed! I'm a practitioner myself. No set "this is the practice" more gut instinct. I work with various spirits, but haven't really gone into any deity stuff. Not all practitioners are evil or bad!! A lot of them aren't!
I've been a witch since I was in my late teens, mostly because I've started predicting things and had a bit of a Practical Magic moment, when my aunts told me that I was born into a family of 'witchy' folks. We can see and sort of talk to the dead, tell where the pain on your body is (My aunt's specialty), draw up a spirit, and I grew up using needle pendulums (Mostly to predict baby stuff), so I was pretty used to it. My ancestry actually has connections to Salem, and I just love learning about how naturally witchy my family is. I personally use tarot, do occasional illustrations, and I can sort of do something similar to home readings, I just kinda tune myself to the energy levels of the area/building, and can tell what happened. Being witchy is fun, honestly, it's like a superpower
I’m a psychic medium, but I can only connect with the deceased that come to me when I’m around a person they want to give a message to. Is there any way I can improve this connection to bring a certain person’s spirit to me? I want to use my ability to solve cold cases.
I'm "precognitive" but people think that I just "see" the future but that's not how it works. I get a feeling of oncoming doom. Then I can use knowledge, history, psychology, human nature, etc. to put pieces of a puzzle together. Even if i don't have all the pieces, I can still make out the broad picture. I can also take the pain of others into myself and screw with random signals. The first sucks for me and the second is pretty useless.

I have a pal that actually did solve cold cases with her abilities, so well that she helped them locate 2 additional bodies, and ended up stuck in jail for a month because they didn’t believe she could have possibly known that information. So i just wanted to give a fair warning that it might not always be in your best interest, i guess depending on the situation. 💜
1:00 when i was 6 I was walking though the woods to get the shop with my mum, I saw a swing chair and asked my mum if I could play on it. She said ok but left me there so I could play and she could go to the shop, anyway as soon as u sat on the swing I was bombarded by whispers and taps on my shoulders, I was so scared that I fell off the swing, at that point my mum was back and saw me on the ground. I don’t remember much after that but I remember for a split second or two seeing lots and LOTS of woman standing around me and my mum, I don’t think she noticed. They didn’t have a face but they had burns, anyway that was a fun experience…😂
I thought the exact same thing as I was taking my son trick r treating on Halloween. We went to a trunk or treat at a church and I was like wow… many years ago they burned people for celebrating Hallows Eve due to it being pagan. The church would burn you. Fast forward to now when churches are handing out candy kids. Really sad. They could just say you’re a witch for no reason.
I am glad that times are coming where the stigma around witches is changing and we are not viewed as devil worshiping monsters that practice nothing more than dark magik. I am very open about what I am and that I choose to heal and help others.

Since it gets dark early this time of year, we often walk down it in the dark-sometimes, my dog will look behind her like she sees something. She will even pull backwards or look back insistently, like she sees a dog, but there’s always nothing there. This happens about a fourth of the time we walk down that street, but it’s always really creepy. My dog is never scared of other animals, either.
I'm a descendent of a witch, so these stories are always hard to listen to. Janet Wishart (my relative) was burned at the stake in Scotland after being found "guilty" of 18 of 31 accusations of witchcraft, in the 1500-1600's. I practice in her honour. 🪄

When I was about 4-12 my dad would always talk about witchcraft and how to talk to the dead. He had taught me many things but being so young, I thought he was just being silly and telling stories. Although, looking at many pages of Wikipedia and books he left for me and watching your videos, I realized later on he wasn't lying. I've always been fascinated by ghosts and otherworldly beings, especially learning so much about witchcraft and its practices. Although, I've never practiced myself, I fully support others who do and just find it absolutely amazing. But, I am well aware that there are many who try to pretend to be witches and how to avoid them thanks to my father.

very true, but this was back in the 1600s before modern science so they had no way of knowing this. It was still messed up for all the blame to always go on the female though (although this is a common theme throughout history).
in reference to tituba: this is a story from Arthur Miller's fictionalized play, The Crucible, which was written very long after the salem witch trials but is also an allegory to the McCarthyism of the 1950s. Tituba's story, though completely possible, is entirely made up. This does not mean that something similar happened nor that witches don't exist, but Tituba is an entirely fictional character.

I live in the west Sussex area of England, me and my partner rent a bungalow on land that once belonged to a family that had a company called magick productions spelt with a K at the end .... I researched and apparently they use to brew various potions and sold various items and apparently even held seances in the woods behind my house 😮 creepy! Upon walking my dog near a pile of old rubble from a demolished house in the woods , I found one single brick ...and the words engraved in it 'magick' with a K ! It freaked me out so I ran back to my house 😂

So I want to share a weird experience I had with a tarot reading I did. So my best friend Elena (changed for obvious reasons) was having boy troubles. So I wanted to help her so I did a romantic tarot reading. She wasn’t sure if she should be with a man in our home state(we will call him Peter) or a man in the state she’s going to school in( he will be called Gerald) also I had NO KNOWLEDGE of either of these men until she told me about it before the reading…I don’t know them personally and I knew nothing about them until after the reading. During the reading my cards started to not talk about her but about Gerald. My cards were reading him through her. We ended up finding out that she was in Gerald’s life to help him through his trauma and help guide him on his path to god. (I’m not a Christian but Elena is and I support it) however Peters reading was that both Peter and Elena needed to focus on school instead of a relationship…. I found out a few months later that Peter is a huge ass and the Gerald is in therapy now and is doing a lot better. However Elena is no longer looking for a relationship until after college…..

I'm a descendent of a witch, so these stories are always hard to listen to. Janet Wishart (my relative) was burned at the stake in Scotland after being found "guilty" of 18 of 31 accusations of witchcraft, in the 1500-1600's. I practice in her honour. 🪄

When I was about 4-12 my dad would always talk about witchcraft and how to talk to the dead. He had taught me many things but being so young, I thought he was just being silly and telling stories. Although, looking at many pages of Wikipedia and books he left for me and watching your videos, I realized later on he wasn't lying. I've always been fascinated by ghosts and otherworldly beings, especially learning so much about witchcraft and its practices. Although, I've never practiced myself, I fully support others who do and just find it absolutely amazing. But, I am well aware that there are many who try to pretend to be witches and how to avoid them thanks to my father.

very true, but this was back in the 1600s before modern science so they had no way of knowing this. It was still messed up for all the blame to always go on the female though (although this is a common theme throughout history).

I live in the west Sussex area of England, me and my partner rent a bungalow on land that once belonged to a family that had a company called magick productions spelt with a K at the end .... I researched and apparently they use to brew various potions and sold various items and apparently even held seances in the woods behind my house 😮 creepy! Upon walking my dog near a pile of old rubble from a demolished house in the woods , I found one single brick ...and the words engraved in it 'magick' with a K ! It freaked me out so I ran back to my house 😂

So I want to share a weird experience I had with a tarot reading I did. So my best friend Elena (changed for obvious reasons) was having boy troubles. So I wanted to help her so I did a romantic tarot reading.
She wasn’t sure if she should be with a man in our home state(we will call him Peter) or a man in the state she’s going to school in( he will be called Gerald)
also I had NO KNOWLEDGE of either of these men until she told me about it before the reading…I don’t know them personally and I knew nothing about them until after the reading.
During the reading my cards started to not talk about her but about Gerald. My cards were reading him through her. We ended up finding out that she was in Gerald’s life to help him through his trauma and help guide him on his path to god. (I’m not a Christian but Elena is and I support it) however Peters reading was that both Peter and Elena needed to focus on school instead of a relationship….
I found out a few months later that Peter is a huge ass and the Gerald is in therapy now and is doing a lot better. However Elena is no longer looking for a relationship until after college…..
