Start the process of inserting the citation at the desired location. 1.a. If this is the first citation inserted into your document, select the type of citation format you prefer. 2. In the red-bordered Zotero search window, enter a search criterion that will allow you to locate the sourced item in your Zotero database and click on the item desired. 3. The citation's content will be displayed in the red-bordered Zotero search window. 4. Click on the displayed citation content to open a modification window. 5. Modify the content of the citation, as desired; for example, you may enter a page number or prefix/suffix content. 6. Press return (or Enter) twice. I wish you the best of success in using Zotero.
