I am finding that I can't obtain a bibliography when using pdfs in zotero on ipad- is there a way to change this or do I just have to input the DOIs in future?

One tip that i found very useful is that, never carry archive material with you. That add to unnecessary baggage.

Oh wow, I didn't know annotations made in other PDF markup apps could be saved in Zotero! I thought the only way to save annotations was to use Zotero itself.

Hi, David thanks for this :) My question is, can you create ANCHOR links in Evernote? I don't mean creating a TOC by using a bunch of different notes (I already know how to do this). What I mean is for example, if you have a long page and you want it to go to specific sections of the page (without actually leaving the page itself? While I'm on this topic, can Evernote create Go to Top of the page or Bottom of page anchor links? Thanks in advance 🙂

Great video. Maybe some images for inspiration would have helped a little. I am having a hard time figuring out how to make my desk more comfortable to study. I wonder if plants make it better or if its a distraction? In school I did not enjoy studying mostly because everything was.. well white and 'clean' in a sense of nothing to distract you, no pictures, color or objects, and rooms were small. Instead of making me focus it actually made me really anxious. Do you have any tips on objects and decorations that might improve the study space in a way that lessens anxiety ?

Great hands-on video! Happy Zotero iPad user here. BTW linked files don't work for the iPad app so they consume Zotero online space, just in case anyone was wondering. Did you know that highlights in the PDF editor get to overlap? I use this to "highlight highlights", helps me navigate the paper even better.

Good instructions but you keep calling it Zotero instead of Scrivener

Thank you very much for this video, I think this is exactly what i'm looking for after have been using zotero for a year. Although I want to be sure: to move seamlessly between computer and ipad I must have my zotero local database synced to zotero servers (which is a payed service), am i right? If this is so, then, once synced where are storaged my pdf files, exclusively on zotero's cloud or they remain in my local computer HD and synced from there? I'm asking this because I'd like to hire zotero syncig/cloud services however I want to be sure that when synced i'm going to free that space in my local HD. Could you please help me with these doubts. Thanks in advance. (btw, nice luzern pic)

I am68 year old retired guy who never wants to stop learning. I rally like your videos. I am researching what it means to be literate in a digital age (digital literacy). I do not like finding research papers that I cannot read because I am not a student. Can you do a video on how to get and read papers when you are old and not in college anymore (and poor)? For the record, Google Scholar is problematic for a variety of reasons and is generally frowned upon when conducting scholarly research and writing academic papers at the graduate level. Use the database search engines you have access to through your university.

Don't know how this popped up in my feed. I gave up on Evernote when they went to online access only. It's useless for anybody doing field research not tied to a solid wifi connection. Even then it's laggy and unresponsive. If you want a free rock solid note taking app where YOU keep your data and can use anytime and anywhere, use Joplin. It's not as pretty as Evernote and doesn't have all the useless Evernote bells and whistles, but it works fine. One of its greatest features is a way to completely back up your data in a form that can saved anywhere and read directly on any PC.
