Zotero stopped allowing me to upload videos from RUclips and pdf’s on my iPad. This just happened yesterday. I came across notice that Zotero is no longer supported on iPad and iPhone earlier this year. Have used Zotero for almost a year now with no problems. Zotero works fine on my windows laptop so I am assuming it has something to do with upgrading to iOS 16. Also the tool bar for files, edit, etc has never shown up on my iPad. Using iPad 7th generation. Really hate this as I have become accustom to being able to save research to one location and be able to easily find it when I want to look up something. Thought maybe my free subscription storage was full so deleted trash using laptop and check with iPad. Went in and deleted some folders and contents that no longer were needed. Still not able to upload files to Zotero. Help…Thanks in advance for any suggestion or thoughts on this problem.
Barry, when I have had difficulty uploading a file using an iOS device, I find that deleting the item from Zotero and then recreating it usually solves the problem. Twice I have had to uninstall the Zotero app from my iPad and reinstall it after receiving errors in the synchronization process. This is a challenge, as my library is complex, but I think it is because of the complexity in my data store that the problems arose. :) I do not recommend attaching videos to items. I suggest creating a hyperlink to the video in one of the available database fields (e.g., notes) rather than storing a local copy of the video in your database because video recordings can be so large. I am running iOS 16.1 on my iPad and iPhone, and Zotero is continuing to synchronize as I expect it to. I cannot comment on the lack of access to the toolbar on your iPad. I've found that dstillman quickly responds to questions that are posted to the Zotero forum: forums.zotero.org/discussions. Maybe asking for help from the expert is in order. :)

@@murphyphd do you have preferred app for database? I have not used database apps. Also I use windows 10 laptop & ipad.
