What a nice video and explanation. I decided to migrate from onenote to evernote last month and I had to cancel my evernote’s premium subscription because I had issues when pasting from one note to another, it didn’t save the notes properly and I lost a complete course notes. I want a reliable system that actually saves my notes, I still own the subscription but canceled the renewal thing 😢. Btw new sub here!
Hector, thank you for your kind note. I am sorry to read that you had difficulty finding a way to consistently duplicate (or move) content between notes in Evernote. I know of no reason that content shouldn’t easily move from one note to another note within the application. However, if I get wind of any potential cause and solution, I’ll be sure to let you know about it. Dr. Murphy
Thank you Dr. David for posting great content like this. I am starting my master's next January, your videos encouraged me to use evernote once again. Let's see what happens, Regards!
Hector, I wish you much success in pursuing your masters degree. Your professors will expect that you demonstrate a greater degree of academic independence in your graduate students than did your undergraduate professors. Show your new professors that you not only deeply understand the content of each course section but that you observe applications for the data, that you can create useful information from the data that you acquire. Whether you wholly switch to using Evernote or continue using Microsoft OneNote (or use another application), use the software application to help you manage the details of your academic work. I prefer to use Zotero and Evernote, but I see value in using complementary applications, too. The secret is to manage the data that you collect so that you can most efficiently create useful information. I hope that you enjoy your graduate studies, and I look forward to learning of your successes. Dr. Murphy
Arman, Thank you for your compliment. I think that I fall asleep before most others, so the only bedtime stories I read are to myself. Really, I fall asleep listening to podcasts.
