Thank you for the awesome videos. I'm glad to bump into your channel. Also so nice to see Mika in the videos. One question on the Box WebDAV, I read that the support ended in October 2019 and end of life for WebDAV is April 28, 2023. Any other free alternatives solutions that are available for students?
San Deep, Thank you for your kind note. I now only recommend Zotero’s cloud storage option to most people. The first 300 MB of storage space is free. This should be sufficient space for most undergraduate students. Details are posted to Zotero’s website at www.zotero.org/storage. Dr. Murphy
@@murphyphd, I appreciate for the quick reply. For now I will use the free storage space and will expand upon the need. The videos are great and very informative, I will surely share them with my friends. Not sure you use Obsidian, I found it recently and it is a wonderful and free software for note taking and works well with Zotero. I totally recommend it. Thanks again.
In this video, I described using box.com as the WebDAV storage location for my Zotero attachments. I have had a problem with WebDAV, and after conversing with a Zotero advisor, I now only recommend using Zotero Storage (the default storage location) for files stored in Zotero. Stephane, I now only recommend using Zotero’s data storage options. The costs of the services are fair, and they work for me without any issues. All of the WebDAV services that I have attempted to use had problems that limit their usability. I’ve decided to just pay for a service that I know will work. BTW, if you don’t have too much data in your database, you may get by with Zotero’s free data plan. ;) Best regards, Dr. Murphy
Again I learned things I didn't know and that I will be using, thanks! Just the series I was hoping for!
Norman, I’m happy that you found my presentations helpful. I wish you well in using Zotero.

Are there other options for WebDAV? Thank you.
