*I enjoyed your extra long haul, Nicole. You found some wonderful treasures❣️I especially liked your Blue Willow bread and butter plate from Occupied Japan. 🤍💙🐦 The Holly Hobbie books from your friend were so much fun to see, as I L💙VE Holly Hobbie too - especially Blue Bonnet Holly Hobbie - just like you do❣️🌻 Your vintage ephemera and little craft supplies are so darling to look at, Nicole. 😉 However, my ultimate favorite treasure in today's video has to be the book with the GORGEOUS BOTANICAL PICTURES...* *WOW...THEY TOOK MY BREATH AWAY WITH THEIR BEAUTY‼️🍃💜🦋🌺🌿*
I know exactly what you mean about the years going so fast, you could be my daughter… 75 and counting 😊 wish I had some of the treasures from the past! Enjoy how tickled you get over little things!🌷
The little pocket doilies, are used to put homemade rolls in for the Easter basket to take to the priest to bless your family's Easter dinner. Polish custom, some other countries as well.
I think the little doilies are meant to be separated and they’re actually slip on coasters for wine glasses and the matching napkins. I love all the little miniature figures! I have had my eye out to thrift a knife saver for years, but I have yet to come across one! Thanks for sharing your finds!
Finally…a video long enough for a whole cup of coffee and some relaxation. Long awaited!!! Thank you for spoiling those of us who love your videos. I saw this after Super Bowl and saved it for Monday morning. What a great way to start my week! Thank you Nicole. Shame on the 2.69 a lb at the bins for landfill bound items. Think, think, think for marketing…
The Wedgewood Peter Rabbit mug is selling online for almost $20. They call it a christening cup. It would make a lovely gift for someone having a baby.
I love all the vintage cross stitch patterns you found! I get what you mean about “how did I get to this age so fast.” My kids are in their 40’s and I keep asking myself how that is possible when it seems like only a few years ago I was that age!!
I think the best thing to do with bone china saucers without cups is to glue glass punch cups on them. The result is a charming tea light holder that brightens any space. I purchase colored glass punch cups when possible so I can pair them with appropriate saucers. Clear ones also work well. They make lovely favors at showers and tea parties.
Lots of fun things! And yes, it's ridiculous that the bins charge that much, considering otherwise it's going to the landfill. So even if they just got a nickel for every piece, they'd still make money, since it's all donated anyway!!!
What fun finds Nicole! We’ve done fondue before….I may still have the fondue pot we got for our wedding. But we haven’t done it in years, but we also don’t entertain much. haha I understand people’s appreciation for books but it’s silly to be upset that you are “destroying” a book, especially since it would otherwise likely be sitting in a dump rotting away. 🤷🏻♀😂
IDK how much those thankful and blessed potholders were, but it always. Racks me up to see dollar tree items higher than the 1.25. And I do see a lot of that BTW I love your channels
It’s a cocktail set, your linen/crochet piece, the circular piece covers the base of wine glass and the square is your canapé napkin. Do people still have cocktail parties?
Hi Nicole- love the long video- love all the books my favorite is the flower one I stared a gallery wall with birds flowers and butterflies I love nature- that’s an owe some book blessings
The round with the slit, fits over the bottom of a stemmed glass, a fitted coaster! I got a set years ago in New Orleans! And I just realized the other day I graduated 50 years ago! How can that be!
Lots of fun goodies today! I love the little minis your friends gave you. Our bins in Colorado are still at $1.69 a pound, thank goodness. I asked one of the workers what happens to their leftovers, and he said they do recycle the books, clothes, and metal items.
Omg, those last two finds that are your favorites my husband had both brand new late 70s early 80s when we were young newly married! He wanted them, one the clock to get him up for work, and two to take with his lunch, chili, soup, spaghetti.... those brought back those memories! I love when you find things from my youth and get so excited!❤ 😂😊
Hi Nicole, very much enjoyed the longer video. The old book is absolutely fabulous. I love old books and even though I have loads, I always look at them. Wished we had a Goodwill bins near me. I see some people find super good items. Thanks for your videos.
Hi Nicole, I really enjoyed your video and all of your finds. I have a set of 8 Holly Hobbie glasses that I collected when I was a teen. They are clear with green Holly Hobbie print.
I love watching your channel! I’m a Jersey girl too, transplanted to Florida. Love your cross stitch haul and all the vintage stuff. That was a great haul, love your hanky display.
Have you seen the picture frames that open up The front side? you can slide in a picture open it up. Take that picture out and slide in another picture they’re designed for children’s art so you don’t have to put art all over the wall. You can just keep changing out the pictures that might work for your Holly Hobbie coloring books being they’re so thin.
I went to Lacey doing the same week you do because I saw blue cobalt blue small handle candleholders. And go all of them for .59 cent each. I love that store.
This is out of left field but I just saw a thing that said to use baby powder in your garden to keep the rabbits out and beetles and I remembered you always have problems with them. Good luck. I still love your show!! You are the same age as my oldest child 😀
That book is fabulous! I think back then they printed individual plates for each page. Printing a book back then was a big deal. Families were wealthy if you had a library in your house of books. Good find.!
We had a library in our house growing up and we were not at all wealthy…my father loved going to auctions and always brought home boxes of books. I wish I had some of them now.
Loved the bunny heart frame - so cute. The bunny sketch mug was adorable. The collection of Holly Hobby coloring books was a great find 👍🏼 Great video Nicole - thankyou 😊
I think your fondue set is for chocolate. The clue in the strawberry in the picture. Besides, candles would never generate enough heat for cheese or oil.
I have the Peter Rabbit Wedgewood set - plate bowl and mug - that was my daughter's, and she is 30 years old now, so I guess your mug is considered vintage now. Same daughter used to love sitting in her high chair painting with water. Love your Valentine display! Yes, Fat Bird Finds is definitely a fun time! Love the thermos and clock!!
Hi Nicole! Lots of goodies in this video! I loved all the miniatures, and the wild flowers book. I think the GW Bins prices have gone crazy, especially now that there’s less hard goods to pick thru😭 tho it does limit what you bring home! You’re so right how the years go by. This past summer I attended my 50th class reunion😳 Notebooks are essential! I write stuff down immediately, or when I see something on my phone I take way too many screen shots! Have a good week, and Happy Valentines Day❤️
I don’t have a Goodwill bins near my home where I live. And I’m from Georgia but our Goodwill‘s near where I live every Saturday. The color of the week is $.99 on Saturdays. So you’re right $2.69 a pound is pretty expensive.
When I was a child I had that same deck of cards with the ducklings on them. I only have one left that I kept because it was so adorable. My parents had that clock as well. What great finds !
I couldn’t see too clearly, but if that “handkerchief looking thing” hatched, two slits in the circle, maybe it’s for a wine glass base to slide into just a thought!
I immediately thought you should place one of your cute stitching projects in that cute bicentennial/July 4th recipe box with some flags. So cute!! Wonderful video and as always so nice to “spend time” with you😀. Have a fun week.
Nice video Nicole, I enjoyed all your finds. I have that same clear vase, I use it for violets that grow wild in our yard. I also have one that is shorter that I use for toothpicks. I wish we had a goodwill bins near me but I think the nearest one is over 3 hours away so I don’t plan on going there anytime soon.
This is 10 mins from my sister. I will check this place out next i come for a visit. Looks great. Plus i told her about the Pink Elephant. We will check it out too. Cant wait.

I loved this long, long video!! I like to just sit back and relax....take all the time you want to! LOL!!! Some great finds, Nicole!!!
Glad you enjoyed it!
My heart stopped when I saw the metal recipe box.So glad you picked it up.
I know exactly what you mean about the years going so fast, you could be my daughter… 75 and counting 😊 wish I had some of the treasures from the past! Enjoy how tickled you get over little things!🌷
Betty is looking adorable. ❤
Thank you!
The little pocket doilies, are used to put homemade rolls in for the Easter basket to take to the priest to bless your family's Easter dinner. Polish custom, some other countries as well.
Betty is looking fabulous with her hearts today
Thank you!

That makes sense! Thank you!
Finally…a video long enough for a whole cup of coffee and some relaxation. Long awaited!!! Thank you for spoiling those of us who love your videos. 1976 I had the best polyester bell bottoms. White and printed red, white, and blue writing all over 1776-1976. Oh where are they now😮😮😊🎉🎉🎉
I thought sure you would get that elephant planter. It was soooo cute.
I believe the clear vase is actually a toothpick holder.
Oh that makes sense! Thanks!
The round doily is for a wine glass
Yes! You slide the foot of the wine glass into the open spot. My Nana used to crochet sets of them for wedding gifts. Gorgeous!!
The Wedgewood Peter Rabbit mug is selling online for almost $20. They call it a christening cup. It would make a lovely gift for someone having a baby.
Love the picture on your calendar,❤
I think the lacy linen is for a wine goblet..
I love all the vintage cross stitch patterns you found! I get what you mean about “how did I get to this age so fast.” My kids are in their 40’s and I keep asking myself how that is possible when it seems like only a few years ago I was that age!!
Love those botanical prints! In the bins, my gosh. Will make great pictures to frame.

I purchase colored glass punch cups when possible so I can pair them with appropriate saucers. Clear ones also work well. They make lovely favors at showers and tea parties.

Really love the long video!!
Betty looks so festive, so pretty!!

That little "pineapple" vase is probably a salesman sample!
Lovely thrift store. A lot of pretty thing's. ❤
Lots of fun things! And yes, it's ridiculous that the bins charge that much, considering otherwise it's going to the landfill. So even if they just got a nickel for every piece, they'd still make money, since it's all donated anyway!!!

It’s a cocktail set, your linen/crochet piece, the circular piece covers the base of wine glass and the square is your canapé napkin. Do people still have cocktail parties?
I have never been to one but I’m not the most social gal lol! Thanks for the info!
Hi Nicole- love the long video- love all the books my favorite is the flower one I stared a gallery wall with birds flowers and butterflies I love nature- that’s an owe some book blessings
People use old books to mount their cross stitch pieces on. Love watching your thrifting videos
The round with the slit, fits over the bottom of a stemmed glass, a fitted coaster! I got a set years ago in New Orleans! And I just realized the other day I graduated 50 years ago! How can that be!
What a treat - a lovely long video full of goodness!♥️

👋 Nicole, i knew you would get the recipe tin to go with your other ones, or at least i was hoping you did. 😊
I love it!
I love to chew on ice especially the good ice from places like Sonic and Chick Fil A. Love the Christmas book. I love clocks too. Great find.
That covered cake dish was gorgeous. I use one on my coffees bar and hide my cups and other things under the lid
Great idea!!
What a fun video! I loved the haul portion! ❤

I love how you take time to look at the pretty dishes. They are my weakness but I just can’t buy them all.❤️🇨🇦
The clock! I love it! And love how you styled it. Now I might have to keep an eye out for one myself.

Very sweet Bunny mug. I would be tempted to purchase All 3😁
I am so jealous of the clock. !!
I couldn’t believe it was in the bins!!

Great video! Have a fabulous week❤
Wonderful video...wonderful finds!! ☺
Glad you enjoyed!
I graduated high school thr year your bicentennial recipe box is from! Lol
Does your little vase feel like Crystal by any chance? That’s what it looks like. I think it’s beautiful.
I’ve seen wreaths made out of those small plates. I would love to make one someday.
Love the blue willow, I collect it as well, but is very hard to find anymore!😂😘🇨🇦
Lamborghini mugs! 😂. That’s cracking me up 😂😂😂😂
I agree, we aren't old enough to have graduated from high school 30 years ago!
What a great haul.❤
Thank you! 🤗
We don't have 1 thrift store with all that furniture here! Except The ReStore and they charge an arm and a leg for everything!
