hearing Perry's voice here sounding so good..on low quality Tv and mono...makes me mad to hear how badly RCA recorded his voice on some of his albums..from 1974 to 80's....but too late..finally in 1987 recorded his voice well on Perry Como "Today"

Very talented. The problem was that he was overshadowed by the likes of Sinatra, Dean, and Tony Bennet.
The odd thing is that he had more gold records and more hit records than all three of them combined.
