It's such a shock that Paul died young at 66. Even though N.O.T.B was my first Maiden Album in 1982, I'd heared the first two albums, and really liked his voice, so down to earth in gigs. You will be genuinely missed. R.I.P brother 😢😢✨❤️☮️
I saw the band in 1981...,live in REIMS (France)....,with Paul Di' Anno..😎👍👍💫💫🥂...
It was a fantastic performance.👏👏🔥🎉..,awesome singer.👌👌🎤🔥..,the best Iron Maiden was with Paul Di' Anno..👉💎👈...
RIP..🙏💫..
I saw them this past Saturday in Denver. They always put on an awesome show!!
Killers my favourite album. Rest in power, Paul. True rock'n roll legend.
So cool. Very sincere. And still I can’t shake just how amazing Bruce’s voice is. Somehow better than ever. RIP Paul.
Perfectly captured! Thankyou! It was great to be in the audience for this earlier tonight! RIP Paul 🙏🏾 #UpTheIrons #IronMaiden
RIP Paul. You were an incredible singer and an amazing front-man.
Classy that he addressed him as friend and BAND MEMBER. Didn’t call him an ex-member…called him a band member. 🤘
Gonna be playing Remember Tomorrow and Strange World in his memory. RIP to my fav Maiden singer 🤘
A great moment for Bruce to do this. Steve helped out Paul with all his medical bills. A true friend. Glad I was able to catch them on the "Killers" tour at the Long Beach Arena. Rock In Peace Paul 🤘
Steve only did that after pressure from the fans, though.
@@phabi0 At least somebody helped
Whole band helped Paul to pay for his surgery, not only Steve.
@aimfuldrifter Good on 'em
Killers was one of favorite Iron Maiden albums
what a tribute to MR PAUL DI ANNO ,that man desserves no less . and so much class in sir bruce speech gave me tears
Nice . I just saw them in Tacoma WA. Excellent show!!!
RIP Paul... maiden would not be here today because of you
tu nous manqueras Paul....maintenant tu peux "Running free" et merci Iron Maiden pour cet hommage.........R.I.P ( France )
Thank you for posting this. Made me tear up. Very epic tribute. Another example of the Maiden is the best band in the world! Seeing them in Chicago tomorrow night and cannot wait!
Thank you, Capnharris, for bringing this to us.
Thank you Bruce. That was a lovely tribute. I am so upset about the death of the great Paul Di'Anno. And a top class performance Thanks guys.
Thank you so much for sharing this with us Capnharris
Nice tribute! Metal Tears is one of my all time favorite songs! RIP Paul
I didn’t know who Iron Maiden was until I saw them on MTV. I immediately went out and bought “Killers”. The first Maiden song I learned on guitar was “Wrathchild”. I still love those first two albums!❤️🤘I have seen Maiden eleven times in four different states and I’m planning on seeing them a twelfth time on this tour.
Funny, one of the first songs I learned on the drums was Wrathchild. Then Flight of Icarus, Running Free and Hallowed be thy Name.
I remember the first and second album when they came out. It was my first intro to Metal Prog music and I was hooked.
thanks for posting this, made me realize that Bruce might care about others.I was a hardcore maiden fan on the 2 albums Paul was on and then Bruce came and I didn't like him and never did for some reason but what he did there changed the way I see him.Maybe I'll start listenning to the albums from number of the beast and up now!
Yes, come home, Prodigal Son.
It is Time.

Nice tribute Bruce, thank you. Only saw that Bruce line up once, and gave it a go but love the Di'Anno period (nothing wrong with your voice) and maybe just the time as we're in our 60's now.
Been a Maiden fan since the beginning.
RIP PAUL
UP THE IRONS
met them at the Ponchtatrain in Detroit
Number of the Beast '81, the best !
This video was linked in Ultimate Classic Rock, you've made it 🤟
Rock in Paradise Paul.
Fitting the concert was in St Paul.
Great post, great to see Bruce address Paul's passing. I don't know why, but the news about Paul's death touched me, guess I'm a big Maiden fan.
I wore those first two albums out! Paul is in a better place than we could ever imagine now... God bless him...
Like millions of people around the world am very deeply saddened by the news of Paul's passing you brought up a very valid point even if you don't believe in God you can still say a word of thanks to whoever does the bigger things out there very wise words indeed my friend and I think Paul and God are very pleased to put the effort you made verse even if the crowd didn't 100% show respect
Thanks so much for posting this. Such sad news about Paul - may God rest his soul. UP THE IRONS!! 🤘🤘
Thank you for posting this. That's the Maiden spirit! Respect DiAnno wherever you are now!
Thank you Bruce for your touching tribute to Paul.
WOW, after all these years Bruce still sounds incredible.
Wished i could have been there. What beautiful words Bruce. RIP Paul. UP THE IRONS!!!!!!
They did a tribute in Salt Lake when I was there. Awesome!
Great tribute to the memory of the original Iron Maiden singer, Paul Di' Anno. The feeling of gratitude and respect was truly felt in Bruce's words as well as in the performance of such a beautiful song. Now Paul will remain forever in our hearts as a banner of strength, resilience and passion. Thank you so much boss for doing what you did 🙏
*Always keep the fire in your hearts and never let the music die. Paul Di'Anno*
Nice to here Bruce honour our fallen hero. Those first 2 albums set the sceen and ignited the touch paper for this wicked ride. Up the maidens
I’ve never had a video for Maiden pop on my YT until this morning. Interesting how a friend of mine was at this show last night and we spoke on the phone about Maiden prior because I never really got into them even though I appreciate the music and talent. So the interesting part is I didn’t search anything about Maiden and just had a conversation on my phone and now it’s popping on my YT channel?
If you think your phone isn’t listening, think again.
Watched this when I got to work this morning. Got a few funny looks from other people because I might have been blubbing. Thank you for posting it.
Thank you so much for sharing this. Rest in peace Paul.
Damn really thought we might see an appearance from Paul Di Anno for the Iron Maiden 50th Anniversary. RIP Paul ❤️
