Just watching this video again, and yes the Bamboo House replace the short-lived QJD Peking duck restaurant 😃. You really got a deal with all that food for about $90! The qjd restaurant over herewas charging some ridiculous amount of $588 per person... Although it's Canadian dollars, it's still very expensive 🙂. You got to make this your regular hang out once it reopens. Your wife was so right 😃
Lol that's crazy $588/person 😳 does the duck come with gold or something 😆 the only bad thing is that once you had it you don't want to go anywhere else for Peking duck ...we have a new Peking duck place near the house and my wife was like nope we're sticking with Bamboo House 😐

It's been way too long since I had Peking duck, time for a visit to my favourite Chinese restaurant I think. Those crab meat dumplings really lit you up! Nice price for the lobster too. Great value for such good quality food. 😋🌟👍

Hey Pimp Racha! So great that you and your family went to Bamboo House in Houston. The inside looks really nice, and loved seeing them chopping up the Peking duck. Bears has never eaten duck before. It's great to hear this place has no MSG or preservatives in their food. All your food looked amazing.. from the beef noodles, lobster, crab meet dumplings, and duck soup! You guys always eat like Royalty in the Sriracha family! LOL!! You looked so happy eating the duck soup, and glad you loved everything! $105 for that huge spread was not a bad price! Great video and lots of love to you and your family!

DavidSriracha I haven’t tried the place you went to yet. Yeah! I enjoy supporting my fellow Houstonians. If I had to recommend you one place to go is Pinkerton‘s barbecue in the Heights. you have to get there when they open because there’s gonna be a line out the door. Get the 1.3oz ribs.

Duck soup at 5:44. Half the duck places serve a duck soup. The others take whatever meat is left and stir fry it. That is served with lettuce leaves to roll up the meat in.

@@DavidSriracha Hi David. I like the duck soup. I take it home, add some water, carrots, onions, celery, cilantro and then serve it with rice or pasta on the side.
The meat and lettuce combo is also a good call. I see that done at a lot of Cantonese places.
I used to go to a local place (now closed) that was very old school Cantonese. They had some Szechuan dishes too. They made a great corn and crab soup. It was even better the next day as a leftover.
I think i think i went to this very plaza once in houston! But forgot what resturant i went to.. Now i regret not coming here! This place is legit! That roast duck!! Omg amazkng and juicy!! You guys order all of food!! So delicous! The chef can cut the duck so well

@@DavidSriracha we go to the same places as well. we like to try new things, the charcoal korean bbq was really cool video, it is on our list. We've not seen the vietnamese bbq in Houston, like they have in San Jose.
@@zeus66061 I think I know what you guys are talking about ..I did this video a while back but they have good Vietnamese BBQ at One Hot Pot and Grill on Bellaire next to Pho Binh by Night ...if you want like seafood BBQ then Ocean Crawfish ( I haven't had a chance to edit that video yet )
