Even if you get nothing new sell the Harley
Ahhh dude that hurts..I've got a 2004 dyna wide...old school..that bitch ain't goin nowhere..runs great n sounds great..peace
Lol!
But that 114 is killer
@@c0nsumption so's the price
@@frankmalone8389 cannot argue with you there. Still though, soft tail with the 114 is phenomenal. Amazing drive
Got my R7 March of this year, about to hit 30k miles on it. For what it is, it's a fun bike, definitely a great bike to get someone into riding, was perfect for me getting back on 2 wheels after nearly a decade of not riding (prior bike was 04 gsxr600). Pretty easy to work on, no real complaints for what it is.
you mean 3k miles right?
30k lmao how bro. you mean 3k??????????????????????
"for what it is"? so what exactly is it? lol
Its a parallel twin supersport with a bit of emphasis on daily usability. If you go into it thinking its like an inline 4, you'll be disappointed. @@sixxx-music
Great vid, Kase! I cant ride a full on sportbike anymore, but I would have loved to try this. I have heard nothing but good things about that powerplant
Awesome to see it Kase! Alex and I will make a sport bike rider out of you! The Yamaha R7 will be that tool. Can’t wait to see you on the track with it!😮
I'm pretty sure Yamaha wants their bike back so I'll leave the track riding to Alex haha
@@TFLbike You won't give it back after just one lap! 😃
I got the same feeling when I got my R7...the cornering and the torque love it...for me its not underpower like what they are saying it so perfect in our road condition unlike 100hp bikes hard to utilize and maximize...
You hit the nail on the head. The r7 has perfect power in my opinion and enough premium components to be a good bike. I’d like to upgrade from my sv650s to one of these eventually. If more people were honest with themselves about how much bike they need they would go with the r7.
👏👏👏 good vid Kase .... Have a good day everyone ✌️
Danggg. I didn’t know y’all had a bike channel! That’s awesome!
The R7 is great here in Florida, especially the "always" expanding city I reside in, where traffic is usually congested 2 times a day. The R7 has that perfect power and torque that can be used with maximum utility, from evading a possible collision to easily cruising the open highways.
Her aerodynamic body provides efficient wind penetration.
I started on a 300cc, and after 2 months, I bought the '24 R7. There was definitely a significant difference between the two.
My son traded his ktm duke 690 for the R7 and he loves it even I enjoy riding it .
Excellent video very professional and honest evaluation of the R7 picking my black one up this weekend.
Man...I'm excited for you!!
Good review. Considering it as my 2nd bike. A R6 & R7 video sounds great! Btw, what’s intro song?
I like the fairings they are different. Almost like boxed out vs being super wide like other bikes
Been eyeing this bike for awhile... finally found a black one and a blue one in stock... hoping to trade in my CBR500 for one very soon!
I have an R7 as my daily commuter on twisty backroads. It is a blast. I run a full exhaust, DNA air filter, and ECU flash to match, and it is even more pleasing than stock. Solid bike all around.
hows a bike for commuting? where are u located? im in cali and thinking about gettingone as a commuter
@@dumbeezy5480 Highly recommend it , especially if you have fun, twisty stuff on way to work. I am in rural Conecticut, so it's 6 miles of backroads to work for me, and then I take a longer route home on nice days to extend my ride time.
You take the same route I do to work on my bike 😅 you need to take it on the express way and open it up like it’s supposed to
Keep the Harley!
I regret selling mine. There's always room for more bikes.
I’ve been on motorized bikes since I was 12, I’ve worked with and rode a fair share of 4/2 strokes, I’ve done a 125cc 2 stroke all the way to a 200cc 4 stroke it was on a very custom bicycle frame and frankly when I installed a 3speed shift kit to it the thing was down right terrifying was thinking about starting out on an R1 since I have a fair amount of experience with clutching, shifting, and throttling but I’m indecisive on what bike I really want as my first
you want to go from a 200cc to a 1000cc? nice knowin ya...
The bike is so fun to ride.. Hands down the best sports bike i have ever owned.
Love my R7 !!!
What was the out the door price on the R7?
Get a sport bike in addition to your cruiser. I have a zx6r and a Low Rider S and haven’t looked back.
I’ve never been into sport bikes but do like the R3 & R7
dont get an R3. Had one. Doesnt corner for shit and you'll always feel like you're gonna tip over with even a little bit of wind. Tires are too thin
I can't believe the price!!
ive got a '13 forty right and considering selling it to get the R7.....wrong move?
No body understands what Yamaha is doing🤦♂️.Many people are mad that the r6 got discontinued for the r7 but I’m willing to bet 99% of those people shit talking can’t push an r7 near its limits🤣 never mind an r6. If you really wanna go fast in a straight line get an r1 lmao. They still sell the r6 in a track version because it’s very good TRACK bike. Not so go on the streets because it lacks bottom end torque. The r7 is a very good street bike and track back. I had a cbr 600 and cbr 1000. I have way more fun on the r7 than those two bikes on both street and track. Anyways I can’t wait for the r9 man, thing will be sweet!
R6 were selling extremely bad, it was on life support for that past couple years which Yamaha had no choice to get rid of
no r9 sadly
You'd look good on an XRS900 and it would put the Harley to shame.
I want to make the R7 my first bike
Im thinking about trading my beta 430rrs with FMF tuning for an R7. what are you thoughts on that? I've ridden dirt bikes my whole life. Brief rides on friends' sport bikes.
i sold my 450 and got a '20 R3, i wish the R7 was released before i purchased the R3 because i definitely could've started on a R7
Coming from a ZX-14 and now riding a 1050 Speed Triple RS, I can't ever see having to wrench that throttle the way you did to get to speed. Throttle control is the key. I can moderately use my throttle and do what you need to do without getting ridiculous. Ride a Street Triple 765 and you'll see a better riding experience.
Street is for transportation. Race track and off-road is for fun. Our opinion. Aah never mind, the R7 looks like a fun toy on the streets
Sorry no sport bike will convert me..if anything I'd get the mto7 50lbs lighter more comfortable riding position has the same exact engine and 3k cheaper
50 lbs? Isn’t it 8 lbs ?
50lbs of wind resistance on mt07 tho 😂
How tall are you?
R7 is not available in my country, but there is a dealership who sells imported R7 tho....for 18k USD
You may as well get an R1 at that price
@@shahzebnasir4692 if an R7 is $18,000 in his country then the R1 is double the price
Coming out from my GSXr 750, debating on getting this R7. What do u think?
Does it generate lot of heat in street ride? Is it possible to drive with formal shoes & attire instead of riding boots and riding pant? say for example you ride for 1 hour in city traffic. Can any one answer please
Iam considering trading my 06 Ducati 999s for one of these bad boys!
I got this bike and it nice but I think Yamaha could’ve made it a bit more comfortable for the street. Lowered the foot pegs a bit or at least make them adjustable, and maybe a 1 inch rise on the bars on this bike would be perfect. Let’s face it we’re not taking corners at 60 miles an hour on your average city streets.
I need one bike 😭😭
R7 lams or R7 High output
Is 689cc too much for a first bike?
No, considering this bike falls under the 650 class. However, if you never had experience and you want a 650 class bike, you have to be more considerate when operating one.
As the creator mentioned, this bike delivers immediate torque. If you snap open the throttle, you are more likely to have the bike leave you in the dust.
I advise you to take your MSF course and then consider whether you are capable of riding a 650 class bike. If you feel that you aren't, I recommend a 400 class bike.
We need 1000+cc, R.I.P 2020 YAMAHA YZF-R6. We did not care about 600cc+ - 800cc that like YAMAHA YZF-R6, Triumph 675R and MV AGUSTA F3. 🤣 We ride KTM 1290 SUPER DUKE R ABS daily.
Good job. Very inspiring! This content needs Promo sm.
Aren't you freezing?
Mine has 15k miles on the odo.
It’s too slow for me but still fun
Good review but keep the harley
Yamaha failed the R7 badge
Sell anything merican tech. Just always use Japan tech. Pretty basic. 🧠 Move.
Sell that harley whatever reason you have
